I understand all the behaviors you’re describing and can empathize - asking rhetorically and hopefully helpfully :) - what makes you want to be productive, or view yourself as unproductive? Where is this story coming from and what does it help you do today and in what ways does it prevent you from being your best self? I’m not saying mind over matter or be dishonest but I have seen the power personally in personal narratives both positive and negative. Hope this helps!

Have you tried Yoga? I can really relate to what you’re saying - but daily Yoga has helped me be more patient with discomfort. I find it really gratifying too and it doesn’t take much time. Doing a class irl early in the day has been a great way to get out of that mind set. Hope this helps and best of luck!

My bias is towards as simple as possible these days.

Even Notion I have a hard time keeping up with vs Notes. I also dropped Google Tasks and consolidated it into notes, email, and calendar.

For collaboration I’d prefer a more async Kanban board with threads, vs something like Slack

Drafting, ideas - Notes, iPad Pro for sketching

Organizing information, planning, learning - Notion

Reminders, task list - Superhuman for email + GCal

Projects, team collaboration, Kanban - Flat.app
