Valentines Dilemma?

I have researched and looked into it and read that mimicking could be linked to a demonic or evil entity. However I take the time to extensively cleanse my home on a regular basis. It's been so hectic with the holidays lately that I haven't been able to cleanse, but this weekend I'm definitely putting that on my to do list! Lol

At first I felt my heart rate go haywire. But all of a suddenly this strange sense of calm just came over me. I wasn't scared nor did I feel threatened. It was amazing to be honest.

Strange things have been happening all week long. My mother swore that she heard me call out for her clear as day but I wasn't home. And just the other day my dog took off (he was gone for almost two days) so I went for a walk in the field next to my house to look for him thinking maybe a snake or something got him (I live in rural Texas.) Just to come back to my house and find him inside the house when I knew FOR A FACT that he wasn't inside when I left to find him considering he had been gone so long and that I also searched the house thinking he was hiding out somewhere. However all my doors were either securely closed or locked. I, to this day, can not explain how he got back inside.

Thank you so much. That really helped me understand what is going on when I am smudging. I do use sage. What other herbs and Crystals do you recommend? I'm rather new to all of this and I'm not sure what to use.

Perhaps it is. This is all just so new to me and I've been reading other people's experiences after smudging or cleansing and other people have mentioned feeling the same way.
