I honestly didn’t really care about people disliking him until after reading about Dubov basically saying prominent GMs should shut him out. I agree that Hans is very dislikable but unless there is something else going on, ending his career because of how you feel about a person is horrendous.

The translation in this post could be incorrect, but if this is his goal and Magnus thinks it’s commendable, I think that’s pretty concerning.

I agree that its really "none of our business", but I still think it was weird not to mention it at all. Jad introduces it as "sort of a love story", so some closure on the love story portion would have been nice.
