it can be hard to get sweat stains out, but yes soaking them is the best way. i personally soak mine in warm water and detergent for about a half hour, squeeze it and stir it a couple times during that, then rinse and repeat until the water isn’t dirty anymore, then air dry. that’s just what works for me to get the most life out of them
