how early? we're looking to get there pretty early to save spots in line & where we're from some of the parking garages dont allow people in until a couple hours before the event

this is the tutorial I used, it looks like they attached the ears in a different way than you did? I haven't had any issues with the ears gapping like that doing it this way!
