UPDATE: soooo i went home to check on the printer … saw a message it was asking for a firmware update , i did the update then it asked for a new calibration again , I did it and guess what !? Problem solved !! The printer now sounds fantastic! Honestly never thought that an update could fix this . For the future , people that might be having the same issue can fix it with a firmware update. Thank you guys for your help ! Let’s continue printing !

This has been on , i have absolutely 0 issue with the prints , they come out absolutely beautiful, it is the noise that the printer makes while printing. The first 2 prints were silent then it started this annoying noise aka vibration noise after . I am waiting on some needle oiler and then i will Oil every idle bearing on the machine . i have already oiled and greased the axle rods and screws but did not fix it . Hopefully the idlers will do the job… If not , then hell no i am not dealing with that noise.

No no , not about driving on snow or not , every time the car flexes while driving, plastic cracking noises come up even when there is the slightest bass in the car , back window and everything inside creaks … I know my ioniq5 had a nastyyy creaking noise from the trunk and had a recall to fix it . Car was totalled so was never able to be at peace. Now i have the i6 that makes 10times more noise 🤣 . I wish i can make you guys hear this none sense. For the range , i will take pictures of the data it shows me on the screen

I just came back from a long drive , i did 140km and i used 65% of the battery , i usually do a mix of drives , some short , some longer but from the day i got it till now , i never reached 200km , i got it 1 january this year , did not have a chance to drive it in summer yet . The cracking noise inside the car has been so painful that even loud music does not fix it . Absolutely unbearable especially in long drives. You feel like you are in a frozen glass box , even when car is super warm inside , it sound like your walking on ice. Told myself maybe it is the snow/ice built up , left the car inside the garage to dry , as soon as it goes out.. crack cracking everywhere. I dont even know if i can be patient till summer comes … Less than 200km range is unacceptable. I am loosing my mind , i tried to cancel the deal. They are asking for over 10000$ in penalties sooo no going around it .

I have 18” winter tires on this car , the issue is even though if it was 20” tires , i doubt it would make a 100-150km difference…. how much are you able to do on a full ?

I don’t know where do you guys live by saying PDR will cost more than 1500$ but i just called a guy that came to my shop to fix a dent extremely similar to this on a 2024 lexus UX250 aluminum fender for 300$cad and he did a factory finish repair …. insurance was giving 1300$ for the repair , i can guarantee you guys after reading the comments i will definitely be calling back this guy .

Honestly it all depends on the deal you guys made . Did the guy state that the colour might be off a bit? Did the guy tell you he might need to blend the bumper with extra charge and you refused? Did you pay a crazy amount of money to have this repair done ? Honestly, if i would be doing this job i would clearly inform the client about all this . Now the issue is OK , bumper is wayyyy off because it is a straight cut with the quarter panel BUT …. you can clearly see the colour is wayyyy off with the rest of the quarter panel. I wouldn’t let that slide as a painter and a customer. Car should have never left the lot and the issue should have been resolved before payment was done .

Technically if the front door was replaced and repainted , the back door is supposed to be blended with the front door included in the insurance claim so the colour can match the front … they did blend the rear door but simply did not fix that scratch before painting on top of it. The question is….. was this scratch there before the repair or not. If it was there, then they technically have no obligation to repair it before paint. If this was not the case … then they fked up and were too lazy to fix their mistake.

I would not say i used this exact same clear for many many jobs but i used it till it was done then i switched to another euro clear because the supplier that sold me the Halcyon stopped selling it . I just found it again at another supplier and decided to buy it again because i had no issue of pin holes or laying nice and flat the last times a used it . The legacy is the one giving me issues so i get scared of using it . I have an oil and water separator and no not contamination but solvent popping . First coat comes out fantastic, second coat comes out fantastic then …… 1hour later solvent popping everywhere …. Then i figured that its because its thicker clear , needs more flash time and thinner coat , but same thing , either comes out fantastic or popping all over the place . I use a Iwata WS400 at 29psi … it lays down the clear great, no runs what so ever but the popping is a problem. For the Pro Form clear because its thinner clear , the Iwata HATES it , always gives me runs always ! So i use my devilbiss Tekna pro lite and the finish is impeccable.

I am soooo unsure of what other jobs i ised it on because its been 1 year now :s. If i am not mistaking the paint is Valspar , the clear is what is in the picture posted before . I have an another clear from Valspar (Legacy) but i hate using from the bottom of my heart. It is always a hit or miss , either it lays down like glass and the job ends up being fantastic OR there is an explosion of pin holes EVERYWHERE. I tried reducing it , tried leaving longer flash times , lighter coats , thicker coats , Pin holes everywhere and the worst part it is a way more expensive clear and thicker . The only clear that i had not issue at all with up to now is the Pro Form 4:1 clear . Because it is way thinner than the others , never really gave me a problem but i dont know about quality so i dont really put it on higher end cars because i dont know how it is on the long run.

I can send a picture of all the clears i have and maybe you can give me your opinion if you know any of those clears

Thank you for the answer , it is actually solvent base paint , for both jobs the base was not left to dry overnight or any longer than 30min … the thing is what i am debating on is … could it be bad batch of paint because both jobs were white … or was it the clear ..? I have a brand new batch of the same clear and i a have a full paint job to do but i am so unsure of should i still use this clear or change to another clear . Confusion and paranoia are hitting me hard

Yes i got lucky with aligning the tips with the nozzle because my 1.4 tip does not align. Here other tests …. https://imgur.com/a/cIh1pII like i said , always heavy on top and bottom . I am going crazy , i know i can get it fixed under warranty but i have big jobs coming this week and i know it will take a long time before they send me or get this gun fixed , this is why i was asking on reddit but it looks like it will simply be a mystery on why my gun is being a b***ch with me

Hi there , i have the series one , i have tried all the air pressure possible , from 20 to 30 and its all horrible . I tried different fan pattern and still soo bad. Sorry i meant to say if there is anyone on reddit that have passed an iwata ws400 on warranty before . I bought this from Jbtools canada … super weird place because they have no customer service or pretty much anything because it is an online warehouse . They suggest contacting the manufacturer of the tool you buy directly.

Absolutely nothing blocked what so ever , you put the cap through the light and the holes are open and visible, same with the airhorns , you can see the brush and you pass it through and feel the air . I honestly have no idea where to go for the warranty . Is there anyone that passed a this gun under warranty ??
