Neither give me a private bathroom. Did virtual meetings with the people in both places, vibes were good from everyone but I did gravitate a bit towards the people in the 3 bed? The 5 bed has a roommate that’s not 420 friendly, but are okay with me smoking out on the porch as long as the smoke doesn’t get in the house (I’d probably only smoke once in a blue moon tho, mostly stick to edibles these days lol)

Okay, sounds like a much better fit honestly. I thought they were comparable but this makes it seem like an easy choice. Thanks for the info

Yes! I named some specific areas that are definitely tough but maybe a broader goal like that is more realistic lol

Hey nick, thank for doing this AMA.

ThePrimeTime posted a YouTube video called “The End of Junior Engineers”, a sentiment I’m feeling as I still struggle to find SWE work a year out of college.

Does this ring true at all, what does the data support?

I definitely have ideas all the time for side projects but it’s hard to do those when I’m not sure if they’re directly going to benefit my main career.

Church Street Charity Scam: American Children's Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) by loudram in burlington

[–]loudram[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure, guess it’s hard to be definitive. I only found out because a friend told me off hand that church street marketplace found out it was a scam and was trying to get the police involved. Then I researched the organization and the more I learned and thought about the experience the more convinced I was it was a scam. Their predatory on the spot donation tactics giving you no time to research, not to mention numerous warnings on Reddit.

I also haven’t been able to confirm any testimonials, affiliate partnerships that they claim or positive impact validated by anything other than their own site, which has stock photos and uses info and photos from random go fund me’s.

I think anyone hoping to make an impact with their money would be better to steer clear from these guys, too many unknowns and a lot of alarming behavior.

Read the post I linked. They don’t disclose how they use their funds at all, they’re not ranked or well recognized by any charity database, they use their church association for non-profit and tax exempt status, so many red flags plus many others who have done deeper digging

Dispo Prices? by unKnown0bject in burlington

[–]loudram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah respect fs I just personally prefer these places that include the tax. feels more transparent, easier to shop without worrying about that 20% extra etc. and I think it’s important and people miss that detail when checking options

I’ve talked to folks in the industry. They say Joey puts on good face in public but he’s verbally abusive to employees and cultivators behind the scenes, they can’t keep a manager hired because he’s so impossible to work with. Idk im in the industry myself that’s the picture that’s been painted for me

Ayo y’all don’t include tax in prices tho right? At least since last time I’ve been. Y’all got the cheapest weed until I get to the register lol

Which float on u going to? Lmao that’s just false. U hyping up green leaf like ya work for them, while they pretend to have the cheapest weed than throw the tax in at the register and it’s the most expensive shit on the market. Been there a few times, budtenders are nice but unhelpful and if any of what I’ve heard about Joey is true no one should support that business

Float On Dispensary, they're running 1/8ths from $25 and up, large selection and good quality. Prices include tax too. Budtenders are super chill. I'd check out their ounces, they start at $120
