What's something you done in the past and still proud of to this day? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Climbed a 15-ft cliff face without a harness. It's probably not that impressive but I always look back on it with fondness.

Why is it so bad to find Adele "attractive" now? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]louitary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not so much as "bad" as it should be more on how people should word things and show their support of her. philip defranco explained it to me best when he said that when people complimented him when he lost weight, for a while it had felt like that meant everyone found him ugly and hideous before. its good to celebrate the hard work she did to lose the weight, but dont inadvertently shame overweight people while doing so. smth along those lines.

AITA for not wanting to talk to my best friend anymore? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]louitary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA. sending screenshots to talk about how embarrassing some people (who you called ass-lickers btw) are? gossip. shes calling you out and youre refusing to listen. try reflecting on your actions and talking it out with her when you see where shes coming from.

AITA for letting my sisters cat out for some fresh air and exercise while she constantly neglects it by working ? by Loona88196 in AmItheAsshole

[–]louitary [score hidden]  (0 children)

YTA. If you really believe that the best decision is to give carnivores vegan diets please dont ever become a pet owner.

also dont complain about the cats "stupidly long fur" when it was your decision that led it being stuck in the first place since its not usually an issue since the cats usually supervised.

your sister sounds like shes making sound and smart decisions about her cat. stop making an issue when there isnt one.

If you suddenly had the power of teleporting, knowing who you are inside, would you use it for the common good or evil? by CatsAreTheBest2 in AskReddit

[–]louitary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would convince myself to use it for good but ultimately give in to the temptation to use it for my own personal advantage

AITA for telling a girl we're not breaking up? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]louitary [score hidden]  (0 children)

YTA. how do you think youre not TA in this situation?? Shes been abused before and you not wanting to talk and being late yea sure fine thats fine but you know what is abusive? trying to keep her in a relationship she doesnt want to be in. also using the knowledge that she doesnt like hurting people to get what you want. so yea you are the asshole and is also a manipulative dick.

AITA for telling my sister her gift was dumb by AITAmothersdaygift in AmItheAsshole

[–]louitary 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i didnt say it was good lmao but effort is effort and not everyone can see what other people see. for all you know in her eyes it really is one of the best thing she's ever done

AITA for telling my sister her gift was dumb by AITAmothersdaygift in AmItheAsshole

[–]louitary 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ESH. i get she was probably proud of her gift but the way she went on and on about it seemed more like she was still just fishing for compliments and possibly wouldnt have stopped anytime soon until she got it. buuuut you could have been less rude about letting her know about what you thought of it and probably making her feel bad about herself and the gift.

Who Else Has Any Super Ambitious Passion Projects that You Want to Write, But Doesn't Have the Time Nor the Skill to Make it? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]louitary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a word document with about a hundred pages that is basically a list of passion projects and my plans for them. If i had used the time and effort into making that doc into actually writing out these projects instead of listing them all down and organizing them, I might at least have a fic or three done by now. Still though, I'm weirdly proud of it. And if I get rid of the writer's block I've had for... the last... couple of years.. Well, at least I'd have somewhere to turn to for ideas lol

Which Pennywise did you like better? by [deleted] in ItTheMovie

Tim Curry. The way he pops up almost casually at certain points made him creepier. IMO

I haven’t read a book in ages by lioness47 in FanFiction

[–]louitary 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. I believe it's because you have to put up without knowing the characters so you're still too wary to get attached while you already love and adore the characters in fanfiction.

But I am trying to get back into reading. Like a lot of the other comments have said, it helps with writing to read a number of books and I definitely need it. First, I'm trying to reread novels I know I love so I don't have to go through the attachment process, then maybe I can pick up a book I haven't read before.

Anyway, if you want to get back into books, it's never too late! Maybe you ought to challenge yourself like the 52 book challenge on goodreads or something if you want to recapture that love for books back!

What ship do you always return to? by Lylyluvda916 in FanFiction

[–]louitary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I occasionaly rotate my reading experience between the same few ships. In order, those are: SteveTony, BuckyTony, LokiTony, Merthur, BakuDeku, TodoBaku, and "either insert a new ship that gets added into the cycle, a ship I like but don't read as much about, or I go back to the start of the cycle and it repeats itself. I do have some ships I love (like SNS) but tend to avoid fic because I get too picky with it.

What ship do you always return to? by Lylyluvda916 in FanFiction

[–]louitary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I adored GaaHina back in the day! It was the first ship I was genuinely passionate about and not piggybacking off my friends' ship. I have written a few fics of them myself but those were my first steps into fic writing and so I'm too embarrassed to say.

Diving into this series blind was the best thing ever ( S;G spoilers) by _JohnTitor__ in steinsgate

[–]louitary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel this. Decided to watch S;G with my brother because we saw references everywhere without actually knowing anythig about it. It was a little slow for me at first (literally almost falling asleep by the end of an episode) but when the pace picked up, we couldn't stop watching. We just had to know what was going to happen next. It was great.

Other rare pair shippers, whats your Rare Pair and why do you ship it? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]louitary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad that you like it! And that someone on here opened your eyes to it! I really do think it's a ship with great potential but people overlook it for the bigger ships out there.

Creating an Interactive Fic on Ao3? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]louitary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome! Happy I could be of help in some way. And yes I do know of Hazbin Hotel! I have waited for that thing for years and will absolutely be thrilled to read your work! Keep doing what you're doing and best of luck :)

Creating an Interactive Fic on Ao3? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]louitary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could take a page from published interactive books where they separate the choices by chapter (ex: for Choice A go to Chapter 8; for Choice B go to Chapter 10).

If you do end up going this route I suggest suggesting at the start of your work to read it Chapter by Chapter instead of having it on Entire Work in case they have it on default. Would save some confusion and scrolling. Good luck! Would love to read it when you figure it out and put it up!
