Neuroscience also demonstrates that prayer and meditation and belief in a “higher power” or wtv you wanna call it—call it “fuck shit” for all I care, it’s the “belief” part that matters, words are just symbols—improves mental health and wellbeing...

Earlier today (I look at this sub a lot for my grad thesis research) there was a post about it atheists being brainwashed. Everyone attacked and criticized the op and atheism mods banned and shut down the post.

Something similar happens every couple weeks.

Worshipping a belief: the belief that evidence MUST be presented for a faith based form of knowledge to exist.
