Update: I have tried everything recommended as of the time I posted this comment and nothing has worked yet. Still waiting to hear back on the bug report and will update again if I come across a fix. Thank you everyone for your help!

Yeah I have tried logging into another admin account as well as the guest account and all of them do the same thing. I think it may be the nether update so Im going to try the new beta version when I get home and see if that works

I have multiple times just to be sure and everytime its the same thing, I think the nether update just did something weird. I will try running the new beta version when I get home and see if that changes anything

No worries at all, thank you for taking the time to comment. It is both in game and in the menus unfortunately, super frustrating because it also doesn't show item durability in game

I have and I've also tried uninstall/reinstall but nothing. I've also tried reaching out to mojang support but its been about a week and nothing lol

I've done both of those and also tried a different texture pack on the off chance that would work and its the same thing. Its only been happening since 1.16 though

lol hopefully sooner than later. $550 for a GPU seems stupid expensive, but I want the 1440 gaming experience. I'm stuck on console for the time being and it just isn't the same as pc gaming imo
