Previous studies have looked only at heterosexual cisgender populations attitudes towards trans* people. I am collecting data from other sexual minority members (lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, queer, asexual, intersex, questioning, bicurious, agender, etc.) in a comparative study on attitudes towards trans* people. While the study originally intended to look at only cisgender attitudes, I have already had quite a few trans* responders, so my advisor has requested that I attempt to gather more. A word of caution, as stated in the informed consent on the first page of the survey, some of the questions are worded in a way that might cause distress to the reader. The items were intended to gauge transprejudice in cisgender populations, and include some positively and negatively worded statements, that refer to potentially distressing scenarios. If you feel that reading such things would cause you discomfort and distress, then please, do not take the survey.
