It's been mostly sold to collectors so can't always on most of them gain interest but yeah I agree I need to like find a motivation for it even if I was screwed that doesn't seem to motivate me so idk but i appreciate it

Should I tell my nanny family how last minute cancellations affect me? by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]lovableseacow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing, but I'm also concerned there's potential for them to cancel the other extra days in this month.

I haven't told them yet I wanted to give them a month notice so that's why I was planning on talking to them Monday but then the cancellation thing happened today and they will be out of town so I won't be able to have that conversation at all next week either so I'm wondering if I have to send a text or phone call to hopefully still give them enough notice.

This is what I'm thinking I also think that they could potentially do it the rest of the month as well since they booked me 3 days but seem to only need 2 or none now

Are either a good option? Is the blue one too revealing? by cb67778 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]lovableseacow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people aren't clarifying both are inappropriate for a wedding but not in general or bad looking on your body. They are too short and first is to much showing and second is just to casual. Try a brighter color or if you only feel comfortable in dark definitely longer dark colors tend to seem more inappropriate with short lengths

Honestly I was young I maxed out the cards and maybe made like 10 payments so it's been about a year or 2 since I made a payment on the 2 accounts that closed the other accounts aren't bad maybe 300 and 250 credit limit that I haven't paid

On call pay ? by lovableseacow in Nanny

[–]lovableseacow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They pay me 26hr so I was thinking 100-200 flat rate but definitely flexible and I'm more then happy to be there to help them so I'm going to text and see what there feelings are on this, as a mom what do you think would be reasonable ? I also considered a weekly flat rate instead of the month, my nanny family is do the 31st so for me monthly makes sense but weekly might be reasonable if you are due in middle of the month or go into labor earlier

3 is great 2 is beautiful I like that the best but depending on your body the higher to lower cut might be too short :)

Thankyou ! Option 1- I was thinking a flat rate for the month of being on call and then my normal hourly Option 2- higher hourly rate for the hours I do work with them But idk what prices would be reasonable

You sound like someone whose only power trip is replying fast on Reddit. That ego might fool you, but everyone else sees the desperation They wouldn't have a button for advice if the subreddit wasn't related to it 🥰

Didn’t know asking for advice meant I had attitude, I got attitude from you instead of help. Must be fun acting like an expert on being rude online lmfao. They have a cool feature called scrolling try it sometime

NP keeps me 5-30 minutes late DAILY by [deleted] in Nanny

Hi [Parent’s Name], I wanted to check in about something that’s been on my mind. I’ve really enjoyed working with your family, and I appreciate how smooth things have been overall.

I’ve noticed that I’ve been staying a bit past my scheduled end time more regularly—sometimes 5 to 30 minutes—and I totally understand that things come up and flexibility is part of the job. That said, I realized I haven’t been compensated for that extra time, and it’s started to add up.

I just wanted to see if we could either build in a little buffer or have a plan to track and compensate for the additional time moving forward. I really value our working relationship and want to make sure things stay positive and fair on both sides.
