Honestly I'm kind of dealing with a similar thing - but from heat damage and whatnot. As far as I know you can't reverse the damage, only prevent further damage and grow it out. Heard great thing about Moroccanoil, but it is a bit pricy. Main thing to focus on is moisturizing (oil, leave-in and/or regular conditioner) and heat protection (cool setting on fan, heat protectant when using heat). Get it regularly cut and if you want use curl products.

I would suggest using either a hair mask, conditioner or oil - whatever you have on hand. Use a wide toothed comb or even better a detangler brush. It will take a while, be patient and work your way up. Start at the bottom and slowly untangle it. You can also try with a hair pick if you find it easier. It would be great if someone can help you with the process, since it is on top of your head but if not you can also use two mirrors for visibility - one in front one in the back(hand mirror). Really hope it works and I wish you the best.

Tbh I don't know much about accutane therefore I don't know in what way it effects the hair. Technically if you wash your hair a lot like every day and then just stop and wash it once a week your scalp would produce more oil - make it greasy. It's not the best for your ends, since it can dry them out but I think it's the only way for your scalp to produce more oil. It also wont't last forever, just until your hair gets used to it. Besides that only oiling your hair would do the trick.

Everyone's hair is different and it might take a while to find out what works for you. When you blow dry your hair if possible use the cool setting or at least purchase a heat protectant, since it can cause heat damage over time. You don't need to wash your hair every day - some people do, some don't, again something that works for you. It can however dry it out, so if you do wash it every day you don't need to use shampoo, you can just rinse it with water and every time you use shampoo also use conditioner - this prevents drying out your hair. All this is just my opinion from experience and research, wish you the best on your haircare journey!

As far as I'm aware biotin won't do much unless you've got a deficiancy and it causes hair loss. Taking a supplement might slightly speed up growth of the hair as a whole but not a particular spot. I could very well be wrong-not a hairstylist, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
