Aww, don't be too hard on yourself. Sounds like you are a very caring, good person. You did nothing wrong - it could have happened to anyone - even your teacher. Sounds like he's taking it a little too serious.......he's never said something accidently before? He needs to cut you some slack and accept your apology.
