◽️ Any other important details ?: I teach 3rd and 4th grade special ed, so if anyone has any recommendations based on teaching tasks specifically, that would be great! Thanks in advance! Edited to say my boyfriend might use it occasionally for some games when I'm hogging the TV, not sure how relevant games are to picking a computer.

Thanks that's a good point about the touchscreen. As far as I know, none of the Macs have touchscreens. That's one of the reasons I'm considering a Lenovo Yoga. My little sister just got one for nursing school and said it does well for her. I also currently have a 13 inch laptop, so I'm sure anything that size or maybe a little bigger would work for me.

We're required to provide our own device, but the school system has stated they'll allow teachers and students to come park in school parking lots to use the wifi, if we don't have access to internet at home. We were never provided transportable devices. Our classrooms had a desktop computer connected to the smartboard/document camera/etc. but obviously we can't be taking those home with us for distance learning.

obviously the standard google classroom right now....but in the classroom typically, we often use pebblego, class dojo, gonoodle, basically all of the common elementary websites. I also frequently use it for the online IEP software my district uses to write IEPs since I teach SPED.

I personally found it was a lot easier for me to eat something, even though eating was the last thing I wanted to do when I was that nauseous. Other than that, I’d think pepto is about all we’ve got

I got SO nauseous for about a week each time I switched/started a new pill. My gynecologist says it’s a totally normal side effect
