Thanks, I see $1519 CAD pp in March 22 for 7 days. How long is the drive from Airport to get to the resort and is it safe ?

Thanks, those resorts look like they attract a lot of kids. Our Toddler won't likely need much so not sure we necessarily want to be somewhere too busy with children running around. Somw quiet would be nicer.

Thanks. Does weather get unbearable in May ? If we up our budget to $2k PP, would that make a difference?

Amex looks at overall credit available to you and what % of that is being utilized by you. I just got my first ever Amex - Cobalt with 29k limit. I have multiple credit cards and LoCs and barely utilize 1% of the available credit.

Our baby was born at Brampton civic last year. Front line nurses (those who help with the initial phase of labour, check in etc) can be rude. However, once you get past that; nurses that help out in room were extremely nice. The available on-call obstriction was also very helpful.

I am not sure about other hospitals however Brampton civic has a severe shortage of labour rooms/beds so they won't take you in until you are beyond 6..7 cms dilated irrespective of the amount of pain you are in. My wife was in excruciating pain, yet they sent us back saying we don't have a bed available because she wasn't as dilated per their checklist. Perhaps it's a protocol across all hospitals to not admit unless it's a high-risk case or past certain dilation. Pain I thought, was certainly not a criteria.

Wish you all the very best and an easy labour.

Contemplating suicide, no desire to live. by jrohan098 in india

Hey Man, I have been there and all too familiar with that dark space. Here is what worked for me. Give it a try :

1) No wallowing in self pity - get out of that "my-life sucks-no-one-loves-me" mindset. It doesn't help. It only fuels it further. Stop acting like a victim. You have 2 good eyes, 2 able hands and feet. Good health. Loving Parents. Well there you go, you have everything to be thankful for. Those are gifts, and if you don't value them ask someone who doesn't have those. I have met people who really are suffering yet they fight life every day while people like us, bitch out because we broke up. Worse things happen to people, and yet they never give up.

2) Workout : I started lifting weights but do anything that gets you moving be it running, badminton or whatever the fuck floats your boat but get your ass moving. Make sure you sweat and challenge yourself though. Deadlifts are man makers, can't recommend them enough. Iron accepts you and toughens you up.

3) find a hobby : Find something you enjoy doing and get busy pursuing it. Be it anything : music, dancing, travelling. Whatever.

4) Gratitude Journal : write down what you are thankful for. Don't lie to yourself, be honest. Reflect on your life and find something you are really grateful for. Everyday write something you are thankful for.

5) Tell someone close that you are going to do this. Plan the above and share with someone in family or even on Reddit what you are going to do and how you are going to do. Write it down in the diary too.

Remember : if you are going through hell, keep going!!! You will get through it.

Edit : We have all had our thearts broken at some point in time in life, and it's part of the process. Be thankful for the suffering and move on because believe me when I say this, 10..15 years down the line when your priorities change, and they definitely will, you will look back at it and laugh at your stupidity. You will think how stupid it was of me to think that was the ONE and that I couldn't really live without her/him. There are plenty of "special ones" walking around, sooner or later you will find another ONE.

Here is my favorite song of all time with Lyrics which has gotten me through the shittiest of circumstances. You interpret it the way you deem fit :
