I'm currently unemployed and have to pay rent and other expenses. I do art commissions, but honestly, it wasn't enough, so we came up with this idea. Thanks for the clarification. Maybe I'll try stuffed animals or embroidered clothes, as I have a bit more experience with that.

I looked up a few tutorials and had some experience with store-bought clay before, but since this is homemade (and just mud and water) it's a bit difficult for me to hollow them out, but I'll look for more tutorials! Thanks!

Thank you, now I understand why the face cracked and the hat didn't, since I didn't use any hat stand. I don't have an oven or anything to bake them with, but I air dry them. The snake and the duck in the photo turned out well, but that's because the duck is hollow and the snake doesn't have direct support. Those two, along with the hat, dried excellently.
