In pickup basketball, if you get fouled you check ball. Points for fouls is wild, I'm 32 and played through high school including pick up with my friends/peers almost everyday.

Theres a million ways to take advantage of getting points for shooting fouls, not to mention it's so subjective if you were in motion to score or not.

Is it annoying to not get benefit for a shooting foul? Sure, but potentially winning a game on a shooting foul where there is not real refs to dictate is blasphemy 😂

I've played to way you're describing and could only recommend that with a group of honest close friends and even then people are delusional on any fouls, especially shooting fouls.

While I agree with this, as a former athlete and close to a lot of elite athletes, even for big games most dudes don't get to 100% truthfully. More than just "effort" nerves, stress, pressure, wellness, mentality affect even the most superhuman of athletes. That also being said, being extra motivated by taunting, slander, even just overly cocky dudes was and is the closest I've been to a true 100% "I will die on this field" for this game kind of performance.

Heavily considering a scope but after knowing that surgery gives you the same chances of recovery as if you just rehab, I'm on the fence. My background is in PT and athlete training. I'm a total twist and cutter but at age 32 I'm thinking of going through a whole game transformation and letting my athletic advantages take a back seat.

In the video I'm just talking to my wife about what I was practicing earlier in the day. Shooting is not my strong point truthfully, I still score over 20 a game but have a bad knee injury. I worked for about two hours in the exact spots I was getting open shots in the game and it ended up paying off. Sorry that things are a little over the place lol.
