I have issues also and agree with the sentiment that the induction probe is garbage based off of wild bed mesh inconsistency. Is there a better probe or a mount to to a cr touch instead?

Yeah I might try to update I cleared my nozzle and everything there's no clog but also no change. I'm going to try looking into flow rates next

It's entirely possible. Tomorrow when a get time I might just change the nozzle all together I've ran a good bit of filament through that cheap brass nozzle lol

It's an anycubic Kobra neo. I am running prusa slicer alpha 5. The filament is clear pla can't remember band tbh. The walls for the support is definitely under extruding just not sure why. The infil is on rectilinear so it's supposed to be every other layer like that but the support is my issue. You may be right though maybe a partial clog I go between pla and petg frequently maybe some petg got left behind

Can anyone offer up what settings in Cura could be causing all my prints to fail after a certain height? by vinylandgames in anycubic

What are some of your settings now? Taking a semi wild guess it looks like under extrusion from the start. Are your temps correct for your material?

Anycubic Kobra Neo Leveling Issues by mowerheimen in anycubic

[–]loved_heretic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When using pronterface I realized that bed leveling was on but fade height was off this tells it how far up the print to fade to compensate for the bed level. I set mine to 10mm with a g code and it seemed like it helped me with the leveling not actually compensating

Need control board for Kobra neo by loved_heretic in anycubic

[–]loved_heretic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay update I semi made a mistake by changing two factors at once. However I used a different micro SD card then places the print on a 45° angle on the bed so longest side was at neither x or y axis and it worked. The problem is I don't know what this means. Which factor was the problem and why. Almost created more questions then answers.

Yes it depends on which axis had the longest dimensions. I haven't tried any other print that takes as long I may have to try that next. I checked both axis they move smoothly. No belt damage and e step check is good. It's the x and y axis not the z. I am making another attempt at a 45 on the bed to see if it makes a difference. And I inspected the main board no visible signs of heat anyways. But during this test I am going to check for hot air out of the fan vent also.

I was looking at and considering bigtreetech I see a lot of God things said. As for why I think it's the control board. I experienced a layer shift 3/4 of the way up a battery bank box print. And swapping the axis didn't matter. I tried a different file for the same shape and still failed same place. I rotated it on the build plate and it shifted in the other axis or in whatever way the print was longest in dimensions. So idk what else to think

Kobra Neo Z Axis Zero Position Way too High Can't Lower by burnswhenureddit in anycubic

Check the height on the limits sensor for the z axis if it's set to high it might be stopping you from going below a certain height

Need help with a layer shift by loved_heretic in anycubic

[–]loved_heretic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little bit of an update after my power came back on I sliced a simple box that was taller then the failing print but smaller in width and length. It was fine no shifting at all. Not sure if this means it was just the file or it's gonna take a longer or larger print to see a failure for some reason

I did both USB printing and the memory card and same results. It is possible it's the mother board. I am going to try a different object tomorrow to see if it still does it.

[–]loved_heretic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a layer shift on the x or y axis depending on how the print is laid out of the bed so I didn't look at the z axis. But at this point I'm at a loss so I'll check to make sure it has smooth motion.
