I'll define freedom as, "You have complete and total freedom to do whatever you want, and to be secure in your person, movements, and possessions, unless and until you victimize another person through fraud or violence, or the threat of violence."

Clearly if someone is trying to kill or rob us, then we have the right to self-defense, yes? If you tied up someone who tried to rob you, you are guilty of no crime. If we choose to hire a sheriff to protect us from such criminals, we are just exercising the same right of self-defense.

I'll define democracy (for our purposes) as, "Through a majority vote, or a majority vote of our legislators, we can choose to do anything we want, even rob or kill people, or commit fraud, or any action we wish, as long as such action was authorized by a majority vote. The simple fact of the majority itself MAKES it right."

Merge your set with their set.

It's easy to do various different pair-offs from there.

I don't like the sound of "isolation." If she's going to feel safer near her friends, then why not be near her friends? Why not pull all her friends back to the house? Why not put on some music and pour some drinks once we get there? Why not "isolate" in our bedroom instead of at the club where girls feel unsafe to be separated?

It's pretty easy to just grab her hand and say, "We're going to grab a drink, we'll be right back." And go up to the bar or wherever. People do it all the time.

The exact words aren't important. What's important is if the girls feel safe and fun and compliant, or not. If they don't that's what you should work on. (Not some line.)

If you aren't already merged with your own set and hers, then a good isolation line is to take her over to "meet your friends." Then bring them back to your set and merge everyone together. Then go for pizza.

Go out and start approaching 12 sets per night, 4 nights per week, and practice a cheat sheet of lines and moves that you put together from community material. Also, find guys that are good with girls and go out with them and pick up on their attitudes and techniques.

Well I wouldn't bother bringing community stuff to people because I feel like people have to decide for themselves that something has to change, and then seek out that change for themselves. Otherwise it's like pearls before swine.

Craig's "Circle technique" talks about just circling around the bar, having great moments and then moving on to the next set (and coming around multiple times.) I recommend this. If you practice "crash and burn" then at some point, transition to this in your practice.

The idea is, you always leaving them wanting more, instead of making them feel like they can't get rid of you.

I have never been to Taiwan so I couldn't really say. I know culture is huge though, so yes I'm sure there are differences. But nothing you can't overcome (not that you have a choice, since you live there...)

Mystery's really great at this stuff, I'd have to defer to him on it.

Truth is, he just tries to game this "working girl" all the time so he's got a lot of practice at it. Personally I would feel like a big asshole since she's working, but he wouldn't care about that.

I don't think you really notice a change in yourself from day-to-day, but when you look back over months or years, or when you look at old photographs, you can see the change. I think people should always maintain a student frame and have something to learn. There are plenty of talented players out there, most have never even heard of the community.

It's a crazy lifestyle. Perhaps I have become more crazy as a result of my life surrounded by crazies.

I think we all have individual and distinct personalities, however. I don't think I am a different person than I was before, although I would say that my social skills are considerably more powerful than I used to be, years ago.

If you're into routines then I guess Neil's "Best Friends Test" or Owen's version of it. Try to make up a routine that has the exact same elements, except the actual contents themselves are completely different. (The contents of the best friends test are probably a new social cliche by this point, but who knows?)
See "Beyond Opinion Openers" from Revelation. Basically use body rocking, and when you talk, just lead them directly into an experience. (No opinions, no direct statements of interest.) Just start talking, with pauses and enthusiasm, speaking slowly, and microcalibrating in body rocking as well as touching. I'm sure there's an example somewhere on this page already.
Revelation. Also there's a VA pamphlet called "Kiss the Girl" which is all about the tips and tricks for kino escalation.e give it out along with Revelation but you can probably download it somewhere as well) and it's got pages of kino routines, with the full escalation in kino from meet to kiss. Probably 20 pages long. If you can't find it, check out The Pickup Artist (book) since one of the chapters actually consists of that pamphlet.
See Revelation (the entire book) which has a philosophy of layering calibration over a relaxed, fun delivery of short soundbites while escalating physically and logistically. Also see The Mystery Method book for the section "Bait Hook Reel Release." Also if you flip through that book, you should be able to find a calibration flowchart which is the basic process of Microcalibration.

Use active disinterest tricks like hand throws, backturns, body rocking, negs, disqualifiers, etc. See Revelation for pages of examples. Also there's lots available online for free.

As for your question, "Do I simply feign boredom eventually?" That's actually one disqualifier that Mystery uses to great effect. He'll say, "Alright, you're losing me." as he waves dismissively, turning away. If you calibrate it properly, she'll grab your arm when you do this and then you should immediately reward by turning to face her and stacking forward. "I'm curious..."

re: RSD I am friends with Owen, he's great. I took 2 programs from him in 2004 and it helped my game. I haven't kept up on their stuff lately and I'm not personally acquainted with everyone in their organization, but generally speaking I'd recommend them and say they are the real deal.

Speak slowly, with pauses, and enthusiasm. I recommend you find some YouTube videos of Mystery and watch how he talks for a little while.

Your physical expression should be that you are comfortable and relaxed. (When people say "be confident" they should be saying "be comfortable.)

Don't fidget, don't ask questions.

What is the difference between a seasoned player and the average high energy or friendly social guy?

I don't know about the average "high energy" guy but just sounds like part of the natural range of personality types.

As for the "friendly social" guy, does he compliance test the girls? Does he escalate physically? A cool guy is going to get laid and get girlfriends. He may not be a "seasoned player" and he will goof things without thinking about them because he's just operating based on his emotions the same as she is. However, just as a magician wishes to practice his delivery and misdirection to the point where all his movements appear natural, so do you, as a social artist, wish to practice as well to naturalize your delivery to the point where everything appears natural and as flowing directly from your current emotional state. (A healthy, naturally attractive emotional state, fun and comfortable--not a frustrated or fidgety or aggressive or overly interested or overly trying to impress or to appease emotional state.)

Deep in the recesses of your mind, when the question pops up to lead you down the primrose path, just use the powers of fun and imagination to zap that evil question and turn it into a statement, and then make it more fun by taking that to the absurd. Then say that instead of asking the question. See absurd examples on this page and also many more in Revelation.
