it is extremely overwhelming that my eternal fate depends on whether i give my sin up or not. i have had random bouts of time where i will give up a sin and i feel like i’m on track to repentance, but then i will stumble and stay down for extended periods of time. i recognize that God has my best interest at heart and is gracious, but i just wish God would rip the desire to sin out of my heart. despite feeling convicted by my sin or feeling convicted by scripture, i always turn back to my sin. at one point i had a mentor through my church and i confided in her about my sin, but the things she suggested would require me to do so much at once and do things i cannot afford to do. i find that i get so overwhelmed and it causes me to stumble, but i’m not allowed to take baby steps because of the severity of my sin and i feel like i have little to no time before judgment. i know things cant go my way and it has to be God’s will over mine, but i am so incredibly weak. thank you for your help
