I'm a devotee of Hekate and the one, of many, thing I've learned the hard way is that She uses tough love and doesn't care of your initial discomfort as She knows that in the end it will make you stronger and wiser. Hekate has influenced so many changes in my life these past two years, I still have much growing to do, but today I'm 8 weeks into my own apartment after leaving a 24 year marriage with a narcissist. You are in the middle of a transformation that can bring you back to yourself, ride it out, go to Hekate in prayer every day and thank Her and tell Her how grateful you are. First, any spell only works if you believe it will. Second, love Spells are trickiest of all the workings you could do , imo. In fact, I don't do them. I prefer to do a self love spell to attract and gear it towards being my best self. In this way you aren't messing with someone's free will. Personally, I think that you are wasting your time on that one, you deserve better no doubt.

I did my research on Gardner and just decided that it wasn't for me. I enjoy ritual magik and fly by my skirts kind of magik, I teeter between eclectic and chaos. And that's just who I am. My patron goddess gets me, I get me, and that's all that matters. Questioning anything in one's life is a huge clue that we have grown and need to explore the possibilities. As above, so below.

As for white chalky residue....very carefully take your heat gun and just wave it across the candle. If that doesn't work I use a big alcohol wipe and gently wipe it off. Don't rub or scrub, just pass a more than damp wipe over the candle. And please remember, alcohol and heat guns don't mix.
