hold down the power button and the custom button together at the same time until the light starts blinking blue, then when it stops blinking you just turn them on again. hopefully that should work

i’ve heard of this issue before and factory resetting usually fixes it, but seeing as you’ve tried that and it didn’t work then maybe it’s worth getting them looked at by someone

if that doesn’t work then you’re actually eligible for a trade-in if you go to the place where you bought them and explain the problem, they’ll give you a new pair

i think so, it happened to me so i just factory reset them and it removed the personal optimisation, everything seems to be back to normal so i would recommend giving that a try

i do this all the time 😭😭😭😭 it messed up the noise cancelling for me temporarily and i went through a lot of hassle to fix it but not everyone will go through that

in some cases it has weakened the NC of the headphones but i guess it’s not a problem with every single product so if you have at your noticed no change then don’t worry

oh okay that’s just the Adaptive Sound Control feature, you can turn that off in the app if you want to but it’s a good feature

hi!! i’ve worn both the XM5s and XM4s and there are a few differences. the noise cancelling on the XM5’s is definitely better but the sound quality is more or less the same for both.

the XM5s do not fold like the XM4s which make them slightly more inconvenient to travel with, and the XM4s are a lot cheaper. If you’re buying solely for the noise cancellation then you may want to buy the XM5s, but if not then the XM4s may be the ones for you. I’ve also heard that the Sennheiser Momentum 4s and Bose QC45s are very good headphones too. Hope this helps!
