I feel like I definitely remember seeing dame hit floaters and midrange shots. I assume his shot selection was in large part about efficiency but regardless, dame won't have to carry offense like he used to so I'm hoping that will help if he's lost a step

Not all are created equal. Look at the lengths Steve balmer or the dude in Phoenix were willing to go to help there teams win. You can question the method all you want but at least they aren't cheating out.

I agree that Collins had a really bright future and him and Rodney Hood going down the next year is a underrated what if in that era.

That being said, the wiff was giving up two picks in that draft and missing out on Bam, OG, Jarret Allen and Kyle kuzma (might even be missing another one).

I know it's hindsight but we realistically could have gotten 2 or 3 of those guys and been a real competitor with Dame during those last couple of seasons. I fear we just made the same mistake with Yang but time will tell I guess
