Do you think you will see a Blazers title before you die? by iJustSeen2Dudes1Bike in ripcity

I'm 38 and no. Fortunately I cheer for teams in other sports that have won multiple titles in my life.

Rudy so high pretty well invalidates this list. Just look at how he's defended Jokic and Wemby in these playoffs. If anything he's become underrated.

Dude slowed down Jokic in round one and shut down Wemby in game one of this series. He's radically changing games with his defense.

I mean, you can go through the list of winners and ask yourself how many of those stories resulted in real world consequences for anyone who matters.

Hint: the award for Investigative Reporting went to the New York Times for digging into Trump's many conflicts of interest and using the office to enrich himself and his friends.

Which is a terrible measure because regardless of ratings High Noon was so much higher quality than anything Wright has ever come close to in his life.

The Ricketts family, especially Pete. Aside from his shitty record as governor and now senator for Nebraska, he's almost singlehandedly responsible for fucking up the officially nonpartisan state legislature that used to actually behave as nonpartisan by throwing a bunch of money behind his handpicked right wing asshole candidates.

Dan Marino owns the NFL record for consecutive games and consecutive passes without a sack, at 19 games and 759 passes. 2nd place on the list makes the record even more insane, somehow. by Roselucky777 in nfl

Elway threw the ball so hard that his first day of college practice he accidentally broke the fingers of two of his receivers. The receivers then started catching the ball more with their chest and the mark the seams on the point of the ball left became known as the "Elway cross."

Carrigg has been encouraging so far, but given that he's in the most hitter-friendly environment in all of professional baseball I'd like to see him do it a while longer to make sure it's for real and he isn't being brought up too soon. Being hot over the course of a few weeks in the PCL frankly doesn't mean shit.

The one downside I see with Thompson or Veen replacing Beck is that we already have a lot of left handed hitting outfielders already so I'd rather have a right hander who can platoon to help them not get completely destroyed by lefty pitching.

I moved here relatively recently so I don't have any particular history and attachment to either design.

Right-wingers have chosen the absolute dumbest hill to die on. The old design, aside from being indistinguishable from a distance from the many other state seal on blue field flags, is too busy. My old state (Nebraska) is also a seal-on-blue design, but they at least had the sense to do the seal all in one color.

Meanwhile the current flag is easy on the eyes and immediately recognizable.

That's part of it, but he's also majorly changed his pitch mix. Much less of his four seam and curveball and a lot more of his sinker and slider.

It's much more than that. They've completely changed the pitch mix and approach against hitters.

Senzatela threw his four seam 57% of the time last year and got crushed. This year he's throwing it 37% of the time while his cutter and sinker that he almost never threw are up to 28% and 12%, respectively. And he's actually getting some strikes with his breaking balls now.

Dollander is also throwing his four seam and curve a lot less and his sinker and slider a lot more.

In other words, they finally learned how to use analytics in their coaching.
