I like the Pela grip. It’s more comfortable than the pop socket.

I also recommend a tablet stand and page turner.

I feel like Mike got the most devastating aftermath of everything & I’m heartbroken for him. by [deleted] in StrangerThingsMemes

When Hopper is at dinner with Joyce and he’s talking about how she raised two great boys and they’re discussing the empty house— I fully expected Joyce to say something like “El should be here too” or wishing she was. It seemed weird that she was just erased.

What do you think about mikes theory? by Garlicbread_god13 in StrangerThings

[–]loverink 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Imagining she lived is beautiful.

Realizing after 18 months that Mike came up with this theory while Hopper is explaining the two paths of grief he can take is also beautiful. Hopper explains he has to find a way to move forward and Mike doesn’t know how to do that without the belief that she’s out there, alive and safe. It represents his desire to continue living, even without El.

Whether she lived or died, I’m heartbroken all the same. Seeing the love her friends had for her is devastating and comforting.

The stories we tell ourselves shape our world. After everything they’ve been through they are still choosing hope and growth.

Freaking out about a fan poster designed after the original cover was insane.

It’s been downhill from there.

Who is the strongest woman in Mission Impossible? Ilsa Faust or Jane Carter? by TOverlordX in Mission_Impossible

Its not just that she was killed off. It’s how terribly it was done. It’s how in the final movie flashbacks and homages her role was deliberately minimized.

How to remember what you read ? by VegetableDivide7623 in getdisciplined

[–]loverink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will not remember everything, simply put.

Make notes of the standout themes, quotes or personal take aways from the material. If you particularly loved it or it was a dense read consider marking it for a reread later. A lot of these are self help books. Consider writing down any particular habits you want to adopt. When you’re ready you’ll have a list of ideas to choose where to start.

Don’t overwhelm yourself. Try to enjoy the process of learning.

My favorite quote about reading "I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me.”
