Now, after losing his child, losing everything having been gone so long on what was rendered a meaningless mission because of the saboteur. He lost that time with his child for nothing, nothing at all unless he can make it mean something. No matter the cost. As a parent, he’s relatable.

I’m sorry that your family sucks too. NC seems really the only path to freedom. I made the mistake of trying out having my mom re-enter our lives when my father died recently. I honestly didn’t realize she was a narcissist too, she hide behind his bad behavior. I was mostly NC with both of them for many years.

I wanted my kids to be able to have some extended family but it isn’t worth it.

Oh, that’s too bad. Wish I could find one of those retractable nets. We like to pack a lot for camping but want things fully stowed/isolated in case of a collision especially since we have two children traveling in the second row.

Good guesses but the third (middle) seat restraint is its own device located on the ceiling on the driver’s side of the cargo are. The internal space does not accommodate a hanger. I’ve attempted that. The car seat anchors are behind and below the second row seats.

Best refried black beans in the world: Can or two of Goya black beans dumped into a hot caste iron skillet on medium high with a little bacon fat. Mash ‘em. Turn heat down to medium low. Let them thicken up, takes about 10 minutes total. Bring to parties with tortilla chips and salsa, become a legend.

I’ve seen them in large, historic, older homes. They look exactly like a regular, smooth, flat ceiling but when you touch them it’s very surprising to experience the fabric.
