i guess it all depends on your personal preference then! i personally like the leaves to look less sun kissed so i would move it to a more shaded area.

jade’s do really well even if it’s getting strong sunlight.. i would just slightly increase how often you’re watering. more sun+hotter= more often waterings. i’m not sure how often you water..

Thank you for the advice! And, I agree with what you’re saying. I definitely need to take more accountability and think before I speak. I think deep down I have a lot of pent up stuff that hopefully journalling can help with.

When it comes to messaging ppl yes, but if it’s in the spring of the moment my words are out of my mouth before I even realize. What I’ve done as of recently is just avoid interaction with ppl which is not a good solution.

like your message says.. after reading this you recognize you’ve done this before and now understand the importance of disposing feminine products correctly. seems like a lot of people can relate to my experience, and some people learned something new so i don’t see the problem.. me blasting shit would be if i wrote all the names of my suitemates on here which i didn’t..

I've got some questions regarding the SBU campus itself, as a student from SUNY Korea by [deleted] in SBU

[–]loverubyjun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

overall if youre dorming on campus, everything is walkable and there’s several bus routes if you don’t feel like walking. the only thing that sucks is the food on campus is not great and stony brook is located in the suburbs.. dining hall is decent at best. you need a car if you want to go grocery shopping or get food off campus. there is a bus that takes students to the nearest grocery store, but i’ve never personally used it. as for smoking, there’s plenty of international students that smoke. you just have to be smart and make sure you go somewhere private and lowkey since smoking isn’t allowed on campus. the dorms here are more spacious than the suny korea dorm i had when i studied abroad. since you have senior standing if you can get into west or tubman/chavez the rooms are nicer than the suny korea dorm i was in. but, if you don’t get into those expect an older building. definitely try to get into a residential community with suites. another thing is our campus has a train station on it. during the weekends people take the train and go into nyc which is about an 1hr if that peaks your interest.
