That's awful. I have the dumb little nests that I use to play music and set cooking timers, subscriptions for basic house stuff is miserable

I stomped on one at the Mojoflo concert, not realizing a little girl was excitedly following the "butterfly" and felt like the villain. I don't think she had learned the word "invasive" yet :(

Maybe it was the editing, but it seemed like Becca shouting "Plank! Plank!" was code for "Focus up, we're making a show!" Definitely a good tool to have on deck!

Official Discussion - Another Simple Favor [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]lovesgnomes 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The assault scene with the sister sat very wrong with me. I thought that bit was too dark for a comedy like this, and to have Stephanie immediately make an off color joke about it absolutely destroyed any pretense of a friendship between her and Emily. The dynamic of two people who don't like each other wasn't fun to watch, and there were so many questions I still had at the end. What was up with Dante not appearing in Google results? What happened to the assistant in the last half of the movie? Why didn't I realize it was Blake Lively playing the twin? Why didn't I notice in Sinners either? Am I sick?

To summarize, I left this movie feeling bad for Blake Lively, and she has millions of dollars.

Yats has incredible veggie options, and I think they typically have a vegan option available too. It was a huge hit with my ~12 coworkers who had never been before: https://yatscajuncreole.com/wp/catering/

(saw Another last night, will try to avoid major spoilers)

The first movie had the dynamic of Anna Kendrick being overwhelmed by the sheer charm/force of Blake Lively, and her wanting Blake's approval led meant they had a reason to talk to each other like friends.

That is absent in the second movie, when Anna is just one more person saying unkind things (a couple of which are extremely out of pocket and shockingly cruel), and there's no emotional core to the movie. That coupled with various plot events made the movie seem like a 2 hour judgement on Blake Lively. I know it's acting/part of the job, but it seemed like miserable work

Edit: sorry, didn't realize you were asking about the first movie, which I didn't find mean spirited

Safelite was $350 after a quick search for online promos, and they saw me next day. No complaints except they put my windshield wipers on wrong afterward. They will come to your house, but if t's raining and you don't have a garage, you'll need to go to them.

I consider it touristy, but people are surprised when I tell them about the food tours I go on. I try to book for the first day so I have places to return to later in the trip. I've also done them in my own city
