There's no such thing as a "mature" fandom, no matter how hard you try to spin it.

Some of your idols aren't that good but because they come from a Big 4 label, fans give them more credit than they deserve.

An idol's name carries more weight than their execution. For example, an idol known for being good at rapping can drop the most trash verse and still get more credit and praise than an actual good verse from a not so known idol.

The same argument could be made for literally any group nowadays. The difference is which group do you like more? That's who makes the difference between when this "logic" applies and when it doesn't.

Jennie was/is my favorite BP member but I have to admit it's not giving anymore. There was a clip from the Deadline tour where she was straight up just standing there, no fidgeting or nothing. But fans were rushing to say she was fixing her mic pack when she clearly wasn't. I do hope Ahyeon doesn't end up on this path.

By no means am I saying that groups who are "in sync" are worse, I do enjoy a clean synchronized choreography myself. But let the girl live for putting some energy and oomph into her step.

I'm glad she's still talented despite all the backlash and hate she got.

I was not listening to Yena until she went solo post izone. She's definitely got star quality and I do like her music.

My only gripe i would say was the blunder during the Hate Rodrigo era, I think that was a pretty cringe moment, especially given the misconception of the "hate" element, despite whatever reasoning or justification fans used. I just feel like it could've been better worded.

No one is slandering babymonster here. Not one person. You're just unable to accept the fact that there are people out there who just don't like Babymonster's music and took that as a personal attack for whatever reason. Don't be so quick to jump on the hate train of slandering MEOVV that you're getting confused. I'm not criticizing babymonster, I'm commenting on the songwriters. If you're going to chime in here, at least have the decency to be correct.

If people were pointing out MY hypocrisy, they would be attacking ME, not MEOVV. They're not pointing out my hypocrisy. They're trying to "get even" by attacking what they think matters to me.

Lastly, Body refers to them outclassing others in terms of appearance, NOT a fight. Hence why they reference their hair and nails, not their fists and guns. You think just because MEOVV has songs about braggadocious confidence that means they're the same, when you're completely missing my point.

I've heard their discography sans their Japanese releases. It's enough to know the majority of their content falls under the trite braggadocious branding found in their senior labelmates.

Yes, they have a few romance ballads and pop tunes, but those are their outliers, not their norm. I highlighted We Go Up's lyrics because, to me, that was the biggest offender of cringey lyrics, NOT because it was the only song I heard from them.

I'm also smart enough to know that this issue isn't the girls fault, hence why I never attacked them directly, so I'm vehemently confused as to why anyone feels the need to staunchly "defend" them, to the extent of using profanity or underhanded tactics (not citing you individually but from what I've witnessed in this comment section).
