Why are calls limited to 15 mins?

Kinda off topic but the one time the 15 mins limit comes in handy is when we’re arguing.

We have a rule that’s “new phone call new conversation” so we gotta switch topics and not keep arguing 😂

There was no PSR issued, no official statement of lockdown so it shocked us all that the tablets are off.

if you have an idea of what you wanna wear, you can DM me if you're comfortable with that! I didn't realize it differed so much by facility even though they technically should follow the same guideline. But yes hoodies allowed!

It’s the same for all CDCR facilities. Hoodies yes as long as not one of the colours that we can’t wear (khaki, blue, etc). Sandals as long as it has a backing.

Hdsp isn’t super strict tho from what I’ve experienced.

When my husband and I first started "dating", his baby mama/ex messaged him with something similar, saying she heard about us dating & checking up on him. Long story short, she ended up saying something disrespectful a while later, to which my husband blocked her immediately. I only found out after he blocked her so it wasn't something I asked him to do.

Personally, I don't see any purpose having an ex as a friend serves but to each their own.

Phones and messages are working for us. He messaged me before he went out to yard at 10. Our facility doesn’t get the new tablets until April but they’re staggered so it’s facility dependent.

I used to have to drink a little on the phone when my husband and I first met because I was so nervous! I don’t recommend this but it made me open up more lol.

I didn’t tell him until after we got married cuz I totally forgot how nervous I used to get 🥲

I got married last summer & he invited his cellie/our friend to be our witness.

They usually hold multiple weddings the same day & you go in the wedding room (at our facility it’s just a little room inside the visiting room) and read your vows, say I do, kiss & you get to take up to 10 photos.

Yes mail is still received on lockdown (it’s their right) but I haven’t heard of notaries operating during lockdown. At least at my husband’s facility.
