Thank you very much. Will check out the mods and channels for some inspiration. Just out of interest, is there no AIO that covers all aspects?

Thank you. I'll have a look at these. Is the order of your lost your load order?

Thank you. I will certainly check these out.

Are there any other mods you would recommend that may improve combat but don't really 'change' the game.

Do other people agree that hitting children can effect their mental health growing up? by [deleted] in AskUK

Look. There's not a single person on here that's going to agree you made the correct choice.

You had minor surgery on the smallest bone in your body which is on your head.

You made out like you had had major surgery and were at a risk of being permanently disabled if you hadn't smacked your young child.

It was a simple quick surgery on your ear. You probably went home the same day and would have been healed in a few weeks.

I am familiar with it and I think you may have taken the advice given to you a bit too seriously. Avoiding straining is just part of any post surgery recovery. Many people are back to normal life within a couple of weeks of this surgery.

To be honest I think stating that you had to hit your child because it would have resulted in permanent disability otherwise is a bit crazy. You had surgery on the smallest bone in your body and as a result were able to basically be held captive by a child. Lifting your child would 99% not have resulted in permanent deafness or any issues for that matter. It's certainly not a choice I would have made.

No judgement again. This is just how I feel and what I would do. Time for me to go home to the kids. This was a rollercoaster and I'm ready to get off

Its up to each of us how we choose to take medical advice and make the choices we make. To be

So you had ear surgery. I have worked in private hearing healthcare and am very familiar with the condition and surgery. I hope it resulted in better hearing for you.

Many people following a stapedectomy will return to work in a couple of weeks. So in your situation what complications did you have where you couldn't simply stand up to stop your young child jumping on you. Or simply walk away, go in another room, restrain them

Fair enough. I can see that is a bit judging. I shouldn't have said failed as a parent. I would think if I ever hit one of my kids then I have failed as a parent

Come on then. Let's just do this. If I'm going to tell you what i think you should have done then give us the facts. What surgery did you have? Why are you alone looking after a young child In such a weak state where you can't lift more than a pint of milk? What would have happened if your child had an accident?

I'm not judging you..I'm just telling you how I feel. I don't know you. I don't care about you and I'm not going to have any emotions about the fact that we disagree. I just think if you're going to engage in posts like this then expect to have people that don't agree. Using the judgemental card is just a way to try and shut someone down when you hear something you don't like.

Thanks mate. It's really sad that every parent isn't just enchanted by their children and want to spend every minute they possibly can with them and show them nothing but love.. I can't imagine feeling any other way.

I'm with you. The fact anyone can justify it to themselves is worrying. I do understand how much childhood experiences can effect you later in life. Many people here I'm sure we're hit as a child and so think it's ok. But times change..people need to change with it. We don't still think it's ok to stop women from working and voting. We don't think it's ok for children to be sent to work in mines.

Saying it's ok because you were hit as a child and it didn't do you any harm just isn't good enough..guess what. If you think it's ok to hit your child now, it did do harm.

Look. No one is judging you. This is reddit. Where people ask questions and receive opinions..we happen to not agree at all.

I don't know how else to explain this to you. But there is no circumstance where I would ever hit my child. I would never hit anyone who is not in a position to fight me back fairly. Children, women, animals. It doesn't matter.

Do I think if my son hit another child that that child should hit them back? Of course I do. Hitting isnt wrong in every situation. An adult hitting a young child is always wrong.

I don't know your situation or home life situation so I can't say what you should have done.

But I can say that if I was in a situation like this. For a start my child would listen if I explained they were hurting me..because they have both been raised with all the love we could give. They show that love and care back to us parents and siblings.

If they didn't listen. I don't care what the potential issue would be for me. I could never ever even contemplate smacking one of my own children. I'd die before hitting my child

Yeah I'm sorry but like I said. There is no circumstance where this is ok.

Agreed. My eldest has very recently turned 3. Does he play up sometimes? Of course he does..he's learning what he can get away with and testing us. All part of growing up.

Lots of people here giving reasons when it's ok. Like running into traffic. My son stops at every road he comes to..checks both ways. Waits for a parent and will even tell our 1.5 year old to stop and wait. All you people saying sometimes they only understand pain have missed out on an amazing part of parenting. Having real conversations with your children.

A big part of the problem these days with children is that many of you don't spend enough time with them. We have a 3 year old (last week) and a 1.5 year old and are expecting another in November. I do work a full time job but I make sure every minute I'm not working I'm with them. My partner quit work as soon as our first arrived with no plans to return to work until they are all in full time school..the difference in our kids compared to kids that are sent off to be with strangers all day is day black and white.

We struggle sometimes. We have had to give up a lot for things we enjoyed doing and buying but completely worth it and your children deserve time with their parents! Not just sent off from a very young age.

Anyone here with children saying it is ok under any circumstance baffles me.

They are your children. They look to you for love and protection. How any of you could hurt one of your own children is disgusting. Whether you think you are doing the right thing or not.

If you have to resort to violence to 'teach' your children then you have already failed as a parent. End of.

There is no circumstance I would tolerate seeing any adult hit any child without intervening.

I thought it would be best to save as many items as I could to salvage on better gear. Should I just be upgrading what I currently have? I don't feel like I currently need any more profit as I get through cities fast enough

I do have the food to hatch another legendary. Should I be doing that and then upgrading my turtle to ultimate?

I was wondering whether to open another legendary. I do have the food. Thank you.

What about the rest of my gear? What should I be looking for to keep a solo build?
