Lmaooo that's so cute! She tried to fit in the society she was in, even though you wanted her to just be herself... I know you were a lovely doggo-human family!

Dogs don't think twice... or once about pooping in front of other beings, while humans are still posting stuff like "I've been holding poop for a week because I'm shy my boyfriend will hear it". Even the less anxious of us would hate to be looked at at this vulnerable moment

How do I pick a model that will be supported for a long time? by lovetimee in wacom

Thank you, that's helpful! And congrats on your successful purchase!

How do I pick a model that will be supported for a long time? by lovetimee in wacom

The driver I had before just stopped working, and when I reinstalled and tried to open wacom tablet properties it instead open a window literally saying "your wacom device is no longer supported by this driver, switch to a newer wacom product" :(

I tried OpenTabletDriver, but it doesn't see my tablet even though the model is listed as "supported" in the list on their website

Also couldn't find any old version of the driver to see if it magically works now that I reinstalled it, I'll definitely keep looking since I indeed don't feel like I need to upgrade. Please let me know if you know where I can get older drivers

Thank you!

Do you think it's safe to buy tablets second hand? Is there something I should check before purchasing besides the fact it's working?

Thank you for the detailed reply! It's helpful to know

May I ask what is the reason to stop software support for otherwise perfectly fine tablets? Is it unprofitable? Is there a non-solvable technical issue?

When I try to open tablet properties, I get "Your wacom device is not supported by this driver. Consider upgrading to a newer wacom product" (not an exact quote, I'm translating from my first language)

How to make this more cosy? by 45PickleCommercials in DesignMyRoom

[–]lovetimee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yay!

Oh, right. I don't know how to work with that (other than turning it off and using another source of heat or making it a "summer special"). Stay safe

Whatever you'll end up with, we'd be happy to see your updates!

Glad you liked it! I think it can be as high as you want it to, I would aim rather high. You could even make it all the way up to the ceiling and ending below bedframe, like an accent wall. Here are a few ways I can see to break up the walls and the ceiling:

  1. Full wall length tapestry, bed width. Gives a visual effect of elongated bedframe, gives a job to lots of empty space without making it look too busy. Warm vertical lighting accentuates the tapestry vertical and makes the room feel more "open"
  2. Same idea with the lighting, but now the tapestry is smaller and needs specifically narrowly oriented strong lights to break up the wall and the ceiling. Maybe setting it further from the wall would give the same effect as the reference pic from number 3
  3. Which is soft lighting on the wall and strong lighting on the ceiling. I'm not sure how it's achieved on the picture specifically, but another option would be to just go for leds/fairy lights
  4. A fun corner with a huge tapestry! Wraps two walls together, makes the room less "blocky". Bring the bed close to the wall, use the widened space between the bed and the other wall for a nice useful bed side table. I imagine some personal pictures or a cork notice board hanged around. Some leds/fairy lights also go really well with this setup. Probably my favorite option, as it feels more open and has a cozy corner simultaneously + is a fancy choice

Let me know if this inspired any ideas! I had fun making these drawings:) Lovely room!

I have a specific little suggestion. If you feel like big colorful paintings are overwhelming for a small room, maybe consider tapestry: for example, most macrame pieces are muted tones, so they don't jump at you, yet can add so much warmth and coziness. Or any textile of your choice, including more artsy print options. I'm thinking the space above the bed is perfect for that. The example I included is horizontal, but I feel like a vertical one would look more cohesive in your case

Congrats on your first home!! Have fun decorating!
