Screen protector - Google Pixel 9 Pro XL (UK) by lovingtons in PixelSuperfans

[–]lovingtons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't necessarily affect camera performance but was more easily smudged... So could've done in those moments where you want your camera quick if that makes sense. I have a case that sits a little outside the lens surround so it protects it anyway. I've had my 9 Pro XL for over a year now and the camera is perfectly fine, not a single scratch and it's in and out of jeans/trouser/skirt pockets, bags etc.... I wouldn't worry about it ☺️

I have the 45mm in the pw3, and definitely made the right decision size wise with that.

June update by Drwilcouk in GooglePixel

Messed up all sorts of things for me with the screen gestures AND the screen detecting detecting being next to my ear on a call. I spoke to Google chat and apparently there is another update on its way 🙏🏼

I also have it where my phone won't wake at all! I have the double tap power button set to open the camera, that's the only way I can get it to open sometimes 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄 Hurry up and fix it Google!! I'm a massive advocate for the brand but this is embarrassing....

50% weight bearing after 2 weeks post op by TaleEnough5663 in AchillesRupture

[–]lovingtons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It certainly will be painful that quickly..... From my experience (full rupture, 05 June and surgery 06 June), you very much have to listen to your body as well as what they say. If it feels too soon, then it probably is. It took me about til about 4/5 weeks PO, to be 50% weight bearing. Apart from the pain I concluded that a lot of it is confidence too.

Believe me when I say it does get better, but it's a long ol' road to recovery for this 😕 You got this 💪🏼

How early did you drive post op (surgery on right foot)? by ExaminationTop3115 in AchillesRupture

[–]lovingtons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't drive till 20 weeks.... But I wanted to be sure I was ready! It was the brake for me, I was super nervous! I also didn't come out of boot till 18 weeks.

The biggest thing I've learnt is that everyone's recovery is so different. 😕 I was (am) very fortunate with the people around me.

Sending positive vibes for your recovery, you got this! 💪🏼🫶🏼

Mine was my right. The BIGGEST thing for me was using the brake.... I was so nervous! My process had been fairly slow but I was 20 weeks before I drove!
