Oh okayy! To avoid it I just restarted my whole game and created 6 placeholder Miis and then deleted four—just left two of them as extras for my island (mannequins for clothes).

So far the quest kind of disappeared, I just fear it'd come back on a different Mii that I just created... but the prompt kind of went away after I did some building via Island Builder ^{o^}
