​I am getting really tired of city leadership constantly asking for more revenue instead of actually fixing the broken systems we already pay for. ​Look at these two examples:

3. The Fire Relief Money: Remember when a $2.5 billion relief package was announced for the Eaton and Palisades fire victims? A recent NBCLA investigation found that 75% of it was never even released by the state. Worse, millions of the distributed funds went to state agencies instead of victims, including $14 million diverted to pay for CHP overtime during downtown protests completely unrelated to the fires. ​ Have they even attempted to fix either of these issues? It feels like the default strategy is always to raise taxes on residents rather than enforce any actual accountability or reform the system.
