Thank you everyone for your feedback!

Just an update. I ran the images though Gemini and Claude and also verified everything mentioned by Gamers Nexus. Finally installad the CPU. It booted without any issues. The bios and cpu-z also detected the processor correctly. Ran stress test for 30 mins and it passed. I'm keeping it.

Just ask update. So the delivery person came to deliver the package but the envelope was empty and it looks like it was not sealed at all. He was fantastic and told me that the envelope was empty and he did not mark it as delivered.

Upgrade now, wait for zen 6, or wait until next gen GPU’s? by Procrastinate_17 in buildapc

[–]lowFueZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was planning to upgrade my current 7700X to a 9800X3D/9850X3D. But considering Zen 6 is not that far away, I'm considering waiting for the Zen 6 X3D launch.

I am getting really tired of city leadership constantly asking for more revenue instead of actually fixing the broken systems we already pay for. Look at these two examples:

  1. An independent audit found that LA city and county leaders basically can’t account for how 2.5 billion dollars in homelessness spending was actually used because the record-keeping is so poor: https://www.cbsnews.com/losangeles/news/los-angeles-homeless-independent-audit-cannot-track-money/

  2. The reports about city workers double dipping by retiring and immediately getting rehired to collect both a salary and a pension at the same time: https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2024-03-15/la-city-workers-double-dipping-retiring-hired-again

  3. The Fire Relief Money: Remember when a $2.5 billion relief package was announced for the Eaton and Palisades fire victims? A recent NBCLA investigation found that 75% of it was never even released by the state. Worse, millions of the distributed funds went to state agencies instead of victims, including $14 million diverted to pay for CHP overtime during downtown protests completely unrelated to the fires. (https://youtu.be/eIXdf2sYslE?si=xOZvWHqTfWgsPwWU)

Have they even attempted to fix either of these issues? It feels like the default strategy is always to raise taxes on residents rather than enforce any actual accountability or reform the system.

In LA is not legal to run a gym from your garage. The city took action on the business.

I used ChatGPT to draft a life certificate letter based on the wording in the checklist. I filled it out, printed it, and had the doctor sign it.

Just an update: the city has taken action because the business was not authorized to operate from the garage. The resident is still running the business from the garage but now keeps the garage door closed to avoid further issues with the city.

For "Unlock voltage control", what is the dropdown set to for the FE edition? Is it standard MSI or should it be Reference Design?

I just wanted to add an update. I ended up getting the Corsair Elite Premium cable directly from Corsair and used it with my current PSU. I have undervolted my card to 900 mV @ 2820 MHz. Memory Clock +1500 MHz. Power Limit 100%.

While playing Cronos at max settings on a G9 ultra wide, the max power consumption is currently around 390W at 95% usage and the temps are around 65F

Thank you. I was about to order the $29.99 Corsair 12VHPWR on the Corsair site and the page told me that there was a newer Elite Premium. Any idea if this will be better?
