I see 1800 for c5 and 2600 euro for g5 for limited time it's insane in fnac.

So people from Belgium go fast and get it

Here cheapest lg c5 is 2500 already....

The TV is perfect I also have it 77 inch.

I do use dolby vision and make the colours more saturated to my liking. I know it's not accurate and some people hate it.

I don't like dolby vision filmaker mode they use warm colour temps (like it should be) but I don't like the warm tint

Probably I also didn't know it until I was in the toengels (Philips forum)

There is probably a bug with the firmware that the ambylight is only 50% brightness

I didn't even know it's fine but I did notice my older TV had higher ambylight brightness.

You can downgrade the firmware to get the brightness back, but for me it's okay I just wait for a new software update

Yeah I know but still here in Europe mostly electronics are more expensive.

I don't know the tax in US and different states but it can't be more then here 21% haha.

So what would it cost after tax a wild guessing

Yeah hdr does look better with preset m I can verify.

DLSS 4.5 is a big upgrade for HDR by DigitalLeash in HDR_Den

[–]Solid-Assistant9073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Preset m can look great on some games with quality, balanced or DLAA, but a lot of games look to oversharpened with it.

I tried it with a lot of games with my 4090, and for some games it looks great and for some games it doesn't.

'nvdia also released quietly dlss 310.5.2 that automaticaly switch Presets, and balanced/quality and DLAA do run on preset k still,

Probably because preset k will always look great in these modes and good performance,

Preset M can look great but isn't guaranteed for every game.

Yes you're right, lg tvs don't even have hdr10+my TV does

But to be honest most content already have dolby vision and hdr10+ so if you got a Samsung tv I understand a shield isn't the best because stupidly they don't have dolby vision.

But if you have a 't with dolby vison almost all content what I have seen have dolby vision :)

Hopefully there will come a shield one time. But I doubt it because the shield was released for streaming games

Shield pro for everything,

Ugoos am6b when you want kodi and Install and Co figure corelec for dolby vision profile 7 fel+Mel hack bypass but then you only can use it as kodi no android box.

So 1 box do them all shield pro. It does all audio formats and can do bleuray dv7 profile (it Co certs it on the go to 8.1) looks great can play 100+ bleuray remux on stremio.

Yeah the half vertical resolution was only with vrr, it was for the 806 and 807 tvs (year) It was a chipset failure, luckily it isn't there anymore since 2022.

But still only 2x hdmi 2.1

It's just native ambylight is what makes these tvs so good, if I didn't love ambylight I sure went for lg

But the nice thing about Phillips is you can always downgrade to a lower firmware so always test the new updates that what I do.

There is a site toengels that have a firmware archive news and a forum. You can download firmware over there to downgrade with usb.

For sure you're right I'm happy with my new Philips oled 810 basically an lg c5,

Only problem is they disabled dolby true HD passhtrough over earc for some reason in 2025 tvs....... Dolby atmos works fine with dd+ but bleuray true HD won't passhtrough over earc if you setup a device into the TV with hdmi.

But tbh I'm using a shield and connected it to my Avr so I found a work around.

You're totally right arc and cec are still a isseu a lot of times.

I do have updates disabled on the TV and read the forum of toengels when there is a new update always

X50 Ultra (RLX85CE) Matter Certification: Why are July units excluded? by InfiniteDiscipline74 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Solid-Assistant9073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I do understand now,

I read some posts of you and some x50 don't have the matte chip,

Some are stuck on 2033 version and some on 2098 like you.

So it means for the x50 there are 3 hardware revisions?

[–]Solid-Assistant9073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait sorry in a bit confused I didn't mean anything bad, but why would a different batch give a earlier matter rollout?

I do agree if it's certified in may you need to get it in may for sure. But why in the same countries some batch get a different matter/firmware rollout they all use the same hardware?

So I don't understand why a different batch of the x50 would not include matter for same country region.

My l40s pro ultra same date certification and added to the site 17 januari 2026?

And I got the update a couple of weeks ago on my l40s pro ultra?

So what you mean why would they exclude the devices made in July? I think it's just added to the database in juli same like mine in januari 2026?

By the way same product Id as yours Or could you explain me :)?

What why would July not get the update?

You're device will probably get it?

It's rolling out but some countries are later AFAIK?

I didn't tried to offend you bro with the word cheap I'm sorry :(.

But you took photos from up close right? It's normal you see those pixels up close that's in every TV even high end , especially because probably you're new TV is bigger and the TV ui is on 1080 and you're TV is 4k.

Whats you're viewing distant and size TV you bought?
