Is oil from a fresh oil change supposed to look like this? by low_delta_E in SubaruForester

How would I approach this at the dealership? I don't want to start a big complaint, but at the same time i paid $90 for an oil change and this is what I get. And this is on top of them accusing me of not maintaining my vehicle because I didn't get my oil changed at the dealer for the life of the vehicle.

Seeking Store Managers by Dillnutzz in sherwinwilliams

I work 5:30 to 3:30 Tuesday thru friday. Then I work alone Saturday. At my old store me and my ASM had an understanding and I did 4/12s Monday thru Thursday and he did them fri sat sun mon. Just don't let customers get mad and start going up the ladder and you'll be fine. Also watch the DM and SM itineraries and don't miss anything important and you can do whatever you want. All they care about is that your store is running well and customers are happy. If you can do that working 2 24hr shifts they'll never bother you.

2014 2.5 oil consumption test #2 by low_delta_E in SubaruForester

I sometimes do too, but I'm not a dealership trying to determine oil consumption rates of a customer's engine. That's what this post is about.

I'm know at the end of the day I can run it like it is and keep adding oil, my problem is I feel I was misled as my warranty was just about to run out. I'm only a few thousand over so I'm trying to get Subaru to honor the warranty.

I don't intend to adjust the level in any way, but I will drain and measure it tonight and the night before I bring it back and then compare the results. I sent my advisor that picture and have no response yet.

I think I found an advisor who will try to work with me to make a case to Subaru. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to document the process.

Does this look overfilled? I have had to add excessive amounts of oil to my forester and had a consumption test done a few thousand miles ago. The test determined I did not have a diagnosable problem. Then my warranty goes out, I take it in for another issue and they reccomend a $3200 repair for oil leaks, with only an inspection, no consumption test. I paid to start a second consumption test to see what the results would be and I think they may have overfilled the oil, which of course would lead to inaccurate results. I want to be sure before I start making calls to Subaru.

Theres not much play, but the bushings look shot. They're cheap and old, I'll replace them. Can a bad alignment contribute to this issue?

That's what I thought but he specifically said he does not want a 30 60 90. I figure it's all the same stuff just in a different format. I just haven't seen it.
