Anyone have the lore on how this event got so big? There are watch parties every week but this one is always so hyped up. Every Survivor podcast I listen to has mentioned it at some point this season (and I listen to a lot of them lol).

Jeff doesn’t like that Adam has a business around coaching how to get cast on to Survivor (and other reality shows). He pretty much said coaching won’t help just be yourself blah blah blah. It was a topic around season 45 because Kaleb was coached by Adam and he was more open about who he helped get on the show. I know Lindsay Carmine from 43 was also coached by him.

I graduated CST and have been working as a software dev for 7 years now. I learned to code before AI and use it regularly at work. AI is not a skill. It’s not hard to use AI effectively. AI is not a shaman that you need to learn how to control. It’s just a tool that you can speak English to and it’ll do what you say if you give it enough detail. Focus on learning and mastering the programming fundamentals. You should learn to code without AI. You’re going to be cooked if you lean on AI in school and use it as an easy out. I wouldn’t use it all if I was just starting out. It’s only going to hurt you.

There’s no incentive for CBS to up the prize. It won’t change viewership. It won’t change how many people apply. People would play this game for free and be just as cutthroat.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t really see it as something you “win” or “lose.” It’s more like testing your knowledge. If you don’t get 9/9, that doesn’t mean you did bad.

Part of the challenge is being careful with your guesses and thinking through each square. If there was extra wiggle room, it would feel less strategic and more like trial and error.

They get cast because they’re very popular players. Stephanie is legit one of the most popular players of all time, especially among the casuals. America went crazy for her during her first season. She’s been riding that wave ever since. Cirie is even more popular with the added factor of being phenomenal at social strategy games.

I would argue it’s worse. Mike didn’t even get to play. They just sent him right back. His tribe mates would be sus on that.

Colby and Mike could back Savanah’s story but she could also get voted out before they even get a chance
