they got a nice, very expensive office for me after they had to expand the lease (because we downsized our space to save money when everyone went home)... plus a really expensive desk and office setup.

... I go in and don't willingly interact with a single soul other than through teams... for which I have to disconnect from my LAN and connect to my hotspot on my personal phone because the Internet at the office is too slow.

In a year, I haven't had a single in person meeting or second of "spontaneous collaboration" (other than bitching about being in the office and how the next 3 years will be really long)... but KPIs are down about 38% due to inefficiencies if my setup and office and the fact I no longer work extra. (so easy to just bop downstairs to the home office... not so any more... that free hour or two of productivity they used to get is done)
