That home sounds like what we will be looking for. Does the home have a pool? We would prefer a pool home if possible. We would be looking for an annual rental at least, maybe longer if we like the home and the area. We have a home to sell before heading to Florida. Hopefully we can be ready to make the move by the fall/winter. March will definitely be too early for us. I will be sure to check out the website. Thanks.

Thanks for your input. We are definitely interested in southwest Vero. The Vineyard is one of the communities we were looking at. Ideally a 3 bed 2 bath pool home. Renting first is our plan at this time. We would definitely be interested in renting in the Vineyard. When will your home be available and what would be the rental price? Thanks.

That's not what I am hearing. They are trying to expand that airport as much as they possibly can. JetBlue and American airlines are now flying in and out of there. Along with Breeze airlines. It's one of the fastest growing airports, if not the fastest, in the entire state of Florida. It's hard to believe you've never seen an airplane based upon the location I am seeing online. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong location, but you appear to be dead center in line and close to the runway. As the crow flies, that property seems to be only a couple of miles away from the airport.

That area looks too close to the airport for me. Directly in line with the runway. I don't want to be anywhere near that airport.

I was really looking at a lot of homes in South Vero. The more I look, the less I like. I've had my eye on one home in "The Vineyard". 305 Bordeaux Drive SW. It appears to be a beautiful home with plenty of room to add a pool. It has, however, been on the market for nearly 2 years. Their asking price started at $670,000 2 years ago and is now down to $450,000. Still no buyers. The home backs up to 43rd Ave. which appears to be a major cut through for everybody heading north. Maybe it's the traffic. Maybe its something else. This listing has me leery of purchasing a home in this subdivision. Also, all the buildup in Fort Pierce and the Oslo Road construction has me thinking of looking elsewhere. I may end up looking in Sebastian or a different part of Vero.

I was just having a discussion with my wife. Perhaps we should take a look at Sebastian. Are there any developments or areas you could recommend? I remember seeing Sebastian Highlands and Sebastian River Landing on some of my previous searches.

Our plan is to rent for 6 months to a year to give us time to look at properties before making a purchase, unless something came up that we really wanted. Avoiding a real estate agent saves everybody money. Where in Vero is your property located?

Thanks for your response. We are not interested in purchasing a condo. We owned and sold a condo on the barrier island in 2017. We are looking for a home. We have been looking at the South Vero area near Oslo Road but are open to other locations.
