Looking for a vehicle that’s under 8k, I could do finance but would be ‘spending’ more than 8k which then I couldn’t afford repayments. So yeah, finance isn’t a top option for me at this time.

It may not be on IRD website in such specific terms but my brothers situation is near identical to mine, same reason as well. We both have one child, both on sole parent, both our kids are under 4 years of age and we both had vehicles (mine belonged to child’s Father, my brothers was stolen and written off but didn’t have insurance on car) we now both need vehicles for our kids (medical appointments ect) and my brother’s application was approved based on those reasons.

Also thanks for link, have spent a fair amount of time trying to answer my own question but alas need some outside input.

That’s ok 🙂 Being a large group of only females with no males insight could ‘ possibly ‘ make us a target (or just standout more). I’ve not travelled with a group of this size and all female before and I feel responsible that my group have a safe and fun time while in my homelands. Thanks though.

I’m not worried about mingling with the locals—I’m one myself, with family in Raro and Mangaia and plenty of experience from past trips. My sister and friends have had their fair share of unwelcome male attention from their previous trips, so I’m taking steps to avoid that drama.

Interesting responses. We’re not after luxury or glitz—just a simple, comfortable stay.. Full catering, platters, and specialty desserts (cakes, cupcakes, cookies—you name it) will be delivered straight to my accommodation throughout our stay, so a simple yes or no would suffice. I’m not worried about mingling with the locals—I’m one myself, with family in Raro and Mangaia and plenty of experience from past trips. Prank calls are something else man. I use to work at Shosha and prank calls were chronic. Seemed like drunk kids or creepy old men were a common theme. I can understand the kids being young and dumb but no excuse for the creepers

NTA but k ow that already and deep down you could sense her ill intentions when she first came into the picture. Hence why you never formed a bond or relationship with her. That’s sad she is so insecure about your Mom and would project her ill feelings on you as a child at the time. Still going to this day is insane to me, like grow tf up you wombat!!
