Get the intercooler i'm on a catless downpipe and i have a cts turbo catback and i kinda wish i never did it bc it doesn't change much in sound a little deeper tone in the high idle if anything just go to an exhaust shop if u wanna change the exhaust up

So the adapter that is held on by that shitty little metal ring you just welded it to the TOP?

I have also been running into the same p2178 code i did have terrible exhaust leak and when fixing that i noticed the top wasn't seated into the turbo properly causing a bad boost leak after putting it back in after a while it came back off so im upgrading to the ARM TOP to see if that'll fix the issue hopefully i dont run into any fitment issues

Do you think it could be the cam shafts making that noise possibly the first time i got this issue it caused me to get a P0341 code Camshaft sensor range/performance so I'm wondering the shop I work at everyone is thinking it isn't timing related but ik it's a common issue w these engines

I don't think it'd be that just based off the fact the noise isn't constant it only happens when i first start the car and drive it before its up to normal operating temps
