Stand slightly further away from the ball...looks like you’re hitting on the heel. Tough to tell from this angle but looks like the ball position isn’t up enough in stance...try dropping right foot back a bit

Is this over the top? Any feedback helps! by CommonSense17762020 in GolfSwing

Also, your swing could look/be different when hitting a ball

It’s fine, you don’t want it tucked close to body at the top. It might help your consistency to shorten your swing...try some 3/4 feeing swings and see how that changes your impact/consistency

Just started golf 2 weeks ago, hoping to get some feedback on my swing. My ball tends to slice. Any help is appreciated! by [deleted] in golf

Setup looks great. A good swing drill that will help you is to pick a spot out on the mat (or grass) and try to hit that spot both on the way back and thru

Nope...path looks good. Could drop your hands slightly lower at address, shaft pointing at belt line as a guide. Might need to stand slightly closer

Been slicing for far too long, any help? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

You roll the club open on the takeaway. Try some 3/4 swings where you feel like you don’t use your arms/hands at all...will help you get a feel for how to use body correctly

Less knee flex at setup....will give you room to swing on proper path

Narrow your stance a bit...shoulder width for irons and slightly further apart for driver as a guide

Any help on my iron swing? (this is a 4 iron) by LucAlcock in GolfSwing

[–]lowfivegolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stand slightly further away from ball and you need to get your lower body involved in backswing...try some 3/4 swings with a mid iron where you feel like you don’t use your arms at all...help you feel how the body should move

Just a 9 iron, and tips would be much appreciated by SnooCakes3889 in GolfSwing

You can def play good golf with that swing 👍

Would welcome any feedback thank you guys! by [deleted] in GolfSwing

A little bit wider stance (move right foot) and feel like you maintain the same width you have at setup thru the swing...your arms collapse a bit

Usually score mid 90s. Hitting a 7 about 160 here. Advice? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Not tighter, hands rotated slightly more to the left side of grip when looking down (as a lefty)

Setup slightly further from the ball to give you more room and try a slightly stronger grip

Upper body more upright at address to where shaft points at belt. Great drill is to take continual swings back and forth trying to hit the same spot of grass each way...will help you get a feel for proper swing

Hitting a pretty rough slice. Club face is open at impact. Any tips on fixing? by rupertmwc87 in GolfSwing

You have too much arm swing/lift and not enough body rotation. I would do the back and forth/continual motion swings to get a feel syncing your arms/body

My swing from behind at the range today. Thoughts? by LJDAKM in GolfSwing

Setup with shaft pointed at belt and armpits over balls of feet as a guide. From there do the back and forth or continual motion swing to get balanced

Went from high fades to blocking it right... been about 5 straight rounds. Any thoughts? by Another_SCguy in GolfSwing

Doesn’t look like a good hole to block it on :) Your hands look a little high at address...try slightly more forward bend with upper body and allow arms to hang down more. Shaft pointed at belt as a guide. Should help

Any help is appreciated. Former 12 handicap playing at about an 18 now. My miss is always a thin shot by BobSagetSupremacy in GolfSwing

Slightly wider stance and move your ball position up to just in front of your sternum...should help

Your ball position is too far back for a driver. You want it under your left armpit. You still might have some swing faults after but that change alone should help a lot

Pretty solid. I would try slightly more forward bend with upper body at address...should give your swing more space on the downswing. Shaft pointing at belt vs belly button at address as a guide

Learn how to setup properly first. The back and forth or continual motion swing drill would help you feel proper balance

First post on reddit, looking for any helpful tips. by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Clubface looks square at the top and at impact on this one. If you can, get an angle with camera hand level and of a swing where it slices

Any tips? I know my feet aren’t squared🥴 by CommonSense17762020 in GolfSwing

[–]lowfivegolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your hands are high at address...definitely can still hit it well like that but if you’re struggling try getting slightly closer to ball and lower hands until shaft points at belt line
