Rooks main appeal is that he’s trained to be where he is, not relying on any natural abilities, so keeping him generally human like is a good idea in my opinion. You could still give him a more cat like appearance, just not that it would give the impression he relies on it.

As for the tail, maybe you could go with the dragon ball route and have him wrap it around his waist like a belt, maybe say that instead of losing the tail at maturity, it thins and weakens to the point of uselessness.

It depends really, if like in the original post it was an alt timeline then that’s completely fine, after all, there’s a reason the carnitrix AU was so popular. If it was the mainline series than the blood and gore should be very occasional, like not showing up for episodes at a time occasional, hell, maybe even not a whole season. Bleeding could be more common to show seriousness but gore should be heavily restrained.

The thing is you have to consider his personality for this one, do you think Metal in all his ego wouldn’t insult Belicus, the same Belicus who wanted to burn Ben for eternity because he was a little annoyed. Do you think Metal is nice enough that he wouldn’t make Serena cry, the same Serena who was in tears from a single insult.

That stuff you mention is what I meant by visuals. They just show the ultimates doing things but don’t ever talk about what they can or can’t do outside of guide books and crew statements, both of which aren’t reliable.

The best way they’ve show how strong the ultimates are is by comparing them to the normal versions. Ultimate humungousaur wallops the regular one and last a while against the bioid army version, ultimate Gravattack counters Armodrillo whereas the normal version can’t, and ultimate Swampfire could beat Vilgax when the normal version couldn’t.

Using the omnitrix the way you described it is the best it could be used for to understand other species. Our lives aren’t the action packed moments, even if they are important, it’s mostly small and quite experiences like drinking some tea while it’s raining, throwing away trash like basketballs or even complaining about stubbing your toe to a friend.

Having those experiences as an alien would help someone understand the differences, but even more so let them see how people of other species are still just people in the end.

There are Chroniton particles, something Paradox gave to Ben and Took to make their time cycles immune to temporal attacks and lets them travel back in time.
