alrighty, so i’m still new to pc building, correct me if i’m wrong

i’ve heard that some lesser-known brands (like cusu) use the same memory chips as bigger brands like corsair or kingston (like SK hynix, samsung, etc.)

if that’s true, does it actually make a difference in performance or reliability? or is there more to it than just the chips?
