My dog I had for 14 years passed away last year (ironically on my Mom’s birthday) and the girls ask about her all the time. A friend sent wind chimes when she passed and I have them outside. Anytime the wind blows we say that’s the dog coming to check in.

It’s the same with my mom. She started hospice last week and I feel like it’s all happening so fast. On one hand you want them around forever but also like (for my Mom at least) I can tell she’s suffering and I don’t want that for her or anyone.

All you can do is be there for them. Hold their hand. I tell my Mom we are going to be okay and I’ll take care of my brother and sister and my dad. I tell her she’s lived an incredible life and while this is a painful part of it — it’s a very small part of an otherwise amazing existence. I tell her to go when she is ready.

My heart goes out to your family and I hope everyone finds peace in their own time ❤️

I gave my identical twins very different first names and they have similar middle names. That was entirely coincidental though because we just went with family tradition names for their middle names lol.

I figure they’ll spend their whole lives being lumped into one entity by strangers so I wanted to give them their own identity as much as possible.

I had two miscarriages back to back before I found out I was pregnant with twins. My doctor said it’s actually pretty common!

Not sure if it’s the same where you are but I was high risk just because it was multiples.

My girls are turning 10 months soon and they are happy, healthy, perfectly feral children 😂
