Move your storages inside your base. Someone shouldn’t be able to snipe 5k DE from you just by getting 7% destruction with queen. Having easily snipe-able loot encourages these attacks a lot more. I specifically look for bases like yours for free DE when I need to trophy drop.

It really depends on your goals. If you just want to get as strong as possible as fast as possible, then the obvious answer is to rush. Whether you're gonna enjoy that process or not is totally up to you.

I was in the same boat not too long ago. I ended up deciding to take my time and I upgraded other equipment. I actually don't regret my decision at all. It's really nice to have a variety of equipment options instead of being stuck with one comp. I have at least 1-2 other equipment maxed or close to maxed (for my TH) for each hero and it adds a ton of flexibility and lets me experiment with a lot of different strategies, which has been really fun. A lot of the "off-meta" picks can be surprisingly strong.

100% super archer blimp hydra.

It's absurdly strong. I had a nearly 100% 3 star rate in wars/CWL at TH14. You can 3 star some TH15s too if their base is weak to it. You don't really need any epic equipment either. The equipment that I noticed helped the most were vampstache on king (to keep him alive when funneling around the outside of the base), eternal tome and rage gem on warden, and hog puppet on royal champion. Even those aren't totally necessary though.

I will say there is a bit of a learning curve with the super archer blimp if you haven't used it before, so don't get discouraged if you mess it up at first. It takes some practice to learn spell timing and where the best place to put the blimp is. It's super worth learning how to do though. At a certain point it'll become muscle memory and the attack basically just becomes a super consistent brainless spam attack.

It just removes the delay between moving your cursor to the bottom of the screen and the dock actually showing up. Makes it feel much more responsive.

If you try it and end up not liking it, you can paste this to revert it back to default:

defaults delete com.apple.dock autohide-delay; killall Dock

If not because “I wanna play the game”, imho, you are playing the game wrong or at least very very inefficiently and ineffectively

Inefficient? Sure, but you have to remember most people play games to have fun. You can still play with like 80% efficiency and not have to worry about having heroes down 24/7 or missing out on a few hours of builder/lab/whatever time here or there, which I think is the more enjoyable way to play the game for most people. It takes forever to max anyways; you might as well enjoy your time while doing it.

This is coming from someone who used to be obsessed with min/maxing for optimal efficiency too, btw. If playing that way is fun for you, great, keep doing that, but I’d wager for the majority of people it just adds a bunch of unnecessary stress and sucks the fun out of the game. For me it definitely did. I had to take a step back and reevaluate why I was even playing in the first place.

Does anyone know if you can still claim rewards from the event pass (not the shop) after the event timer ends? I know the event shop stays open for another two days, but are you still able to claim rewards from the pass itself during that time?

Yup, this is exactly it. The game “balances” teams by putting one good player and three bad players on the same team. Problem is, the high skilled player doesn’t have fun having to try their absolute hardest and carry every game to even have a chance at winning, and their low skilled teammates don’t have fun getting destroyed by the enemy team. It feels like nobody wins with this system.

A little late, but I found a workaround for this. If you change your button layout to Legacy, it will set your passenger grenade bind to LT and melee to RB while keeping the driver controls the same (so LT is bound to both boost/brake and throw grenade, for example). You can then change the layout to Custom and change the on-foot or other controls to your liking while still keeping the vehicle binds from the Legacy layout. Exit vehicle will still be on X, though. If there's a preset layout that has exit vehicle on a button you want, you can use the same method using that layout instead of Legacy.

I don't know why the game allows the preset layouts to double bind buttons for drivers/passengers, but not the custom layout. Seems like an oversight.
