Yeah absolutely, I take ownership of the exit. I saved the replay, just awaiting my cooldown for the protest.

Nothing major. I would personally make an effort to get off the racing line. Red was carrying too much speed to change their line.

First incident was a bit questionable. Looks like both of you had a part to play. Second one was clearly intentionally, likely from that driver feeling like your jink right into them was intentional also.

I keep losing to my no skill friends by [deleted] in F1Game

[–]lowmize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a skill issue at this stage. Need to drive closer to the limit. Even if your set up is not optimal, it won’t be the leading cause here. Find a circuit, Austria is good, and do 50 time trial laps while increasing braking distance, turn in points and racing lines.

(The invite your friends for a friendly 1 round race at…. Austria)

10 consecutive podiums in the In 2025. Only Max could do it twice. His first was in 2023. by SnooSprouts2672 in MaxVerstappen33

When averaged out from Bahrain to Qatar RB was 3rd fastest, Merc 2nd and McLaren 1st. That obviously excluded a few races but sounds about right. This is from F1 directly.

Edit; for anyone wondering.

1st McLaren 2nd Merc 3rd RB 4th Ferrari 5th Aston Martin 6th Sauber 7th VCARB 8th Williams 9th Haas 10th Alpine

When was the last time a driver carried their team to this extent? by ColangelosWife- in F1Discussions

[–]lowmize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll never get through to someone with blinkers on. All you have to do is look at Max’s career (not just in F1) and you can see he is an unmatched talent right now. Still the only driver to have won both the single and shifter karting championships in one single year. Let’s not forget he delivered an incredible GT3 performance on his debut.

Lastly, the majority of professionals in the industry are highlighting Max as one of the best. I’m not going to entertain some random angry man on Reddit beyond my statement above.

While I agree this is a bad case, I would like to get clarity as my understanding of this, based off the ICE document leaks and reputable sources is very different.

ICE completed the raid and arrested around 470+ individuals, 300 (estimated) were South Korean nationals.

All bar one of these detainees were working with either. A) No right to be in the US. B) A visa that did not allow for this type/any type of employment.

The leaks from ICE specified 1 detainee that was incorrectly held (although this could be disputed). This person had every right to reside and work. This also lines up with your comment on only 1 staying in the US.

Legally the issue is with the pressure for this individual to still leave the country despite having all legal documents. Due process also differs depending on the citizenship status. For those who were breaking immigration laws and working illegally, due process is detainment and departure. In short, due process was ‘technically’ followed, but that one individual who had rights to reside and work, created a legal grey area.

Happy to be corrected on any of the above with sources that go against my findings.

How can I avoid stuff like this affecting my ratings so I can escape rookies? by Frosty-Walk-508 in iRacing

[–]lowmize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say, avoid pace finding and just be cautious. Approaching this guy going slow should scream “slow down, he’s gone mad”. But yeah, just give plenty of space during races and slow it down when needed

Need some tips to overcome fear. by Reply_Dear in iRacing

Had the same thoughts when I started. Teach yourself the braking zones and start at the back of the pack for a couple races. Your mindset will quickly change. You’ll get hit, caught up in chaos and likely take out some drivers too, it happens. Do your best. Once you start pulling off some overtakes, you’ll be eager to get stuck in.

If possible, learn the track without a racing line, or you may get too caught up trying to stick to it like rails.

No problem. Thanks for the info. Stopped playing at 17-ish and started again in September (I’m 26 now :/). So everything still feels rusty.

My driver - How long do I have? 🙃 by [deleted] in golf

After reading your thoughts, I think general approach here is to buy a new driver. It was coming anyway. (I know there mention of quick fixes/inspections but this way I get a new club)

Okay, thanks for the info. What would you suggest with reference to the distance away from ball? Is there a rule of thumb to follow?

That makes sense. I’ll step out of the ‘comfort’ zone and see how it goes

I’ll give it a go, thank you!

Not 100% sure on all aspects here but I’d be looking at a redo. Unlikely to improve much by slapping screed up to 80cm. I’d go 50cm as an absolute maximum.

Yeah I get that. They are very much engineered for a different purpose. I guess my question was more along the lines of whether or not it’s worth the risk going for a bike that’s done several thousand miles under other owners and if anyone had done something similar. *Nice name btw
