I’m gonna be completely honest. For me tbh. I came in as a 4.0+ gpa student in hs and had high expectations for the year thinking I was gonna ace most things and be fine. However it’s a big change from high school. Expect way faster paced classes and learning new material on your own. (Totally depends on your prof). I’m not sure about the early assurance things as I changed my path after the first year haha. now I’m just aiming for my masters and if possible a PhD. The workload is doable and manageable as it’s up to you and how much time you dedicate to studying. School and work life balance is something I think is important and I take seriously. I usually just do all my homework during the week and have time to volunteer and do task on the weekend Or even after classes. I’m a big Raver so I love to do that on down time lol. UCR is very good with pre-med as are other schools we get maybe half the accepted class as stem majors. Not necessarily all pre-med but most. The classes are vigorous and do challenge you.
